- DESCRIPTION
Purtop One IN is a single component Polyurethane
waterproof Coating. Highly elastic and durable membrane,
ready to use and easy to apply. Once cured, the membrane
forms a jointless, flexible and strong waterproof layer.
WHERE TO USE
• Apply to basement (basement of building, basement
parking lot, open cut subway and passageway);
• Waterproof engineering of washroom, kitchen, balcony,
water pool, parking lot, etc
• Apply to non exposed roof waterproof engineering.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Excellent physical and mechanical properties: Composed of
pure polyurethane, good rubber elasticity and resilience,
high tensile strength, strong resistance to the deformation of
base layer (shrinkage and cracking);
Good bonding property, strong adhesion: be bonded with
dierent base layers and directly constructed on the
qualified base layers; the bonding strength is more than
1.5 MPa;
The membrane is generally spray applied/brush applied in
two coats at 1.0 mm thickness, to form a dense coating,
pinholes free and no bubbles.
Mapefloor I 900 is applied with a roller as a primer coat
before the application of Purtop One IN.
Excellent water and corrosion resistance: forming film by
chemical reactions, water erosion resistance, corrosion
resistance, mildew resistance, especially suitable for long
term soaking parts of waterproof engineering constructions;
Excellent low temperature flexibility: -35 ˚C low temperature
bending without cracking, suitable for low temperature
waterproof engineering constructions;
Good construction performance: one component, out of the
box for use on site, easy construction;
Environmental friendly: high boiling point solvents, non
dangerous goods, no benzene, toluene, xylene and
any other toxic solvents, no coal tar.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Preparation of the substrate
All substrates, whether new or old, must be solid, clean, dry
and free of all traces of oil, grease, old paint, rust, mould and
any other material which could aect adhesion.
1. Application on concrete substrates and
cementitious screeds
Surfaces must be prepared according to specification by
sand-blasting, shot-blasting, scarifying, bushhammering or
other methods, depending on which type of substrate the
product is to be applied. Then treat the substrate with a
suitable primer as follows.
Hollows, cavities and detached portions in the substrate
must be repaired with suitable products from the
