Some of these showtapes for Jethro and Daniel and The Dixie Diggers were also used for the Man and Dog show at Gillian's Wonderland and Rocky and The Ramblin Rascals at The Enchanted Forest Water Safari.
Yup, Jethro shares a lot of songs with Bubba and Badland Bear show I believe it’s called.

These animatronics are the specific source of my fear since early childhood, saw them at celebration station multiple times, absolute terrors and still live in my dreams if you ever find a recording of them from celebration station near Charlotte please let me know I feel like I need to see it to confront my fears
I’m sorry to hear about that! I don’t believe I have seen any footage of that particular celebration station, but all the celebration station shows were pretty similar (if not, identical). If you look up celebration station with the word birthday or animatronics after you’ll find some footage. I also have a Daniel And The Dixie diggers playlist on my UA-cam channel.

I miss these guys, they were removed from my local Zuma Fun Center which then converted into a Funtasticks before being shut down.
You should visit Huckleberry Junction. The songs and shows they play are very likely the exact same ones Zuma Fun Center had. Also, thanks for sharing the memories! I actually did not know about the existence of a D&DD at that particular location!

Yes, cool that someone else noticed that! I often call Sally Corp the General Motors of animatronics because a lot of shows, scripts, voice actors, animatronics, characters, and even mechs/endoskeletons were reused (rebadged) often for different shows.

Jethros strum hand used to move so much faster
Yeah, just looked at old footage and it had a lot more movement not too long ago. All of these characters could have higher air pressure IMO, but it’s watchable. Jethro can get a little boring at times since his movements look a little bit stuck

@@camthekidd21 I never asked, but they probably do. This footage is about a year old so things have defiantly changed.

@@camthekidd21 I’m not sure why they got rid of them entirely, but most of the shows are on display or gone completely. None are operational although at Celebration Station.
I’m not totally sure but I think scratches hands are supposed to move when he plays his horn/trunpet
He’s finger are not, but his left hand moves slightly during some of the shows which is correct as far as I know. Also he we dance with his right arm sometimes which he does. This show is actually in really good shape. Some movements are missing (very very very very few) and the air pressure is lower than I’d like, but other than that it’s in fantastic shape!

Yes! His name is Scratchmo which is a pun on Louie’s nickname, Satchmo. He is an anthropomorphized version of Louie. Sometimes he can be seen holding a handkerchief as well. He does looks a little strange. I believe he is supposed to be a dog due to the pun in his names and all the other original 5 dixie diggers are all dogs. But he does really look like a cat!

my family lived in genesee. there’s something about that town that’s very dreary and sad. their house was haunted and dogs would be hung in the woods. don’t go there. i love animatronics but if you want to go here to see them, DONT. please
The area isn't the best but I would not go that far. The band is in good shape and Huckleberry Junction itself is a safe place to be.
@@showbizcec4985 sure huckleberry is fine. but i would just keep visits there to a minimum. my family lived in that town for years and they left for a reason.

Probably, but no animatronics anymore to go see that are worth going to see in my area. I have lots of footage I’ve never posted. Maybe I’ll get around to that some day. I’d love to make my own animatronic band some day too. But nothing definitive
The Jethro Animatronic is in poor condition. I've seen Videos of Jethro at other locations and he moves more. His Strum Hand, His Head. Do they not have a Technician? But I do enjoy this Video. It brings back memories of my Childhood.
They certainly do have a tech. All of the other characters are in phenomenal shape. Jethro does need some work although. His movements work but not very fluidly. Glad to hear this video brought back some memories!
@@showbizcec4985 That's good to hear. Maybe they can get him moving more. When I was a Kid a locally owned Grocery Store had a Jethro P. Hogg Animatronic installed. You could walk up to his stand and push a Button. I'm almost certain he performed most of these same Songs. Great Memories.

Directly behind the stage is likely the kitchen or part of it. Behind Jethro’s stage is costumes and the control unit. I feature it in a photo at the end of the video

Here's an idea. Take two Jasper t. Jowls, a modern Mr. Munch and a chuck e cheese and turn them into these guys.
i think daniel and the dixie diggers is almost better than RAE they are SO good.
Man for me that’s like trying to choose a favorite child. Daniel and the dixie diggers does a lot of great stuff. Their covers are THE BEST versions. If they didn’t do the goofy voices, you could pass it off for real stuff. Also, the movements of these characters, in general, are not awkward or super jerky like most animatronic bands. And the commentary and old timey jokes are hilarious! There’s so much to like from both despite what Aaron will say about all of his competitors XD a lot of the stuff Aaron says about his competitors is valid, but a lot of his opinions on Sally Corp just are based in emotion for the most part.
