i am the original internet uploader/converter.... i still have this VHS and the full set is on it, and I will have access to the tape again sometime after November, and I swear to my fellow GUK fans that I will make it my sole duty to get the whole tape online! when i tried to capture it in the past it was damaged and it wouldn't work. however, the whole tape still PLAYED on a VCR, and at one point I even filmed my TV screen to capture the footage. i feel like a shit that i havent got this up.
LAAAAAAAAAAAAAST night, everything was right, the rain was gone.... and then later the high note guitar melody. so much power.... such a great part in an all ready great song.
Hi mate....i only got into Mineral recently too (2007)....think it was during one of these old Get Up Kids vids where they mentioned Mineral, so i went and checked them out....and they INSTANTLY became one of my fave bands of all time. How i wish i saw them perform live :(
thanks for the info about the capturing device-- i used to have a $300 analog-dig conversion box, but the tape was so damaged it was dropping frames and wouldn't capture. I have NEVER come across any Mineral footage, but I share the sentiment, I would absolutely love to see that. My biggest contributions (as a A->D converter) have been an old Knapsack show, the JEW set preceeding this GUK set, and the GUK set from the Electric Lounge, and the Anniversary set from EMO's. I can def do a DVD.
furthermore @mycat8me, thank you for reposting/posting this.... when i made the original site (railandsky, followed by lightofday) it was before I'd ever even heard of youtube--certainly before youtube was a standard, and i considered my own site a completely reasonable means to release this footage... Anyway, youtube is best now, and i'll be digging up the old stuff if I can find it. xoxo
geez, awesome to see this show. I dunno why I guess I just never thought to look up Mineral on YT. I only got into them in 2006 (i would have been too young otherwise), but I absolutely love the band... I just called my brother in here to show him this all like "OMG DID U KNOW ABOUT THIS VIDEO?" and he laughed and said "yes of course" lol Also, I believe I still have all the full quality DV rips on an external drive. I'll locate them and hook you up with DVDs. i'll message you.
I never went metal...I went from punk to emo, to 39 years old and married with a Subaru still listing to the same music from 1995 to 2005. I gained weight and lost some hair but still have all my old cd’s and even some 7” vinyl splits. I’m getting older, but I still feel my youth with the music
Hey, what happened to that site that had all those old high-quality videos of jimmy eat world and TGUK shows from the early '90's? That site was awesome, but I can't find it anymore.
This band changed my life 10 years ago. I got into indie music shortly after finding them.

1,185 views? disappointing for an early live performance of one the greatest songs ever.
I thought that they were going to dedicate it to Pewie Herman.
they play so damn good live. wtf.
What ever happend to railandsky? That website was so amazing. Old TGUK and J.E.W. videos. Too bad its gone.
me too. i think most emo kids just became indie kids. it's like punk/metal.

I meant to hit thumbs up to this comment, but in a drunk stooper I hit down, for this I am sorry. Because this comment is the truth.
