Wow man you have a lot to learn! First: Air Force planes fly in formation to save fuel, like why trucks tailgate each other. Next, those white things streaming off of your wings are called cottrails. Those happen because of ice or when you are landing. Third, the engines cut because you were at too low of an angle of attack meaning that you did a nose dive. Engines cut when the craft stalls or nosedives. Good luck, pilot!!!
Dude! I was I the Air Force in the early 80's. If you can spawn I C-141 I would totally geek out! We used to call the C-5 "The Aluminum Cloud". 2 of the aft are hanging off the left edge!!

Maybe learn some more about how proper landings are done. Sometimes I wonder if you are able to understand even the most logical things. Like why the fack would you expect to see the cargo ramp of such an huge cargo plane when you're in the cockpit and the cockpit is closed?

used to live right next to DAFB in Delaware and watch those C-5s go over all the time!
I enjoyed It dude,I was air deck crew, ships company on uss america cv66 and uss niniz cvn and 69 cvn. Makes me want to do regular landing with f14 tomcat and a-6 sky hawk,f-4 fantom. I"m telling my age. thanks good work blessings.

Air Mobility Command (AMC) is one of the major commands in the Air Force dealing with air transportation. It used to be MAC - Military Airlift Command. And that's not a door it's a ramp 8P

Some tips : Try to land without poiting the nose full down try to let the back tires reach the ground first second of all when your landing in your approach (when you are like 100 meters away from it try to go down so fast as possible so you dont need to use the whole runway because its so short that you can overrun.
In GTA 5 it's hard to land with the rear wheels, It's too unrealistic.

If your on short final, you don't want to point the nose down. You have to keep the plane level, and have a controlled decent. As you get to about 100 ft or less, you perform a flare. You don't just go down as fast as possible. Since this is gta physics, your partly correct but since it's gta physics..... It's extremely easy to come to a full stop on a runway or carrier in this case.

The Hughes H-4 Hercules "Spring goose" is bigger.
Ole Andreas Yes, he is bigger you are right. But I thought we are talking about real aircrafts. The Hughes H-4 Hercules can plant only on the water, and he was flying only 2 km and rose to the height of 21 meters that was first and last his flying.

Alpha, on your next NOoSe patrol can you use quantum break mod. It will be like a quick-time event, but to make it not op you can use it once per mission. There won't be a time limit, but you can't move from your position while using it.

Actually it is and has been done. I was a safety officer on the Big E in 94 off the coast of Guam when we landed a 4 craft squadron of C-5 Galaxies. The LSO was at his wits end as the wing would go over his end each time one of the 4 landed. I received many congratulations for my role in making this happen. The best thing was watching them one by one being loaded onto the elevator to be taken down and stored underneath the flight deck.

The Galaxy has a tail hook? I've seen them land hundreds of times but usually at a land base.

try the cockpit view and go lower on approach, just sort of glide onto the runway. that's how its done in flight simulators (and real landings ofc). will be much easier.

Great video and a lot of fun to watch. Nice work on the successful landing. You might notice each time you pull up back on the elevator the wing tip vortices appear? That is a sign that you have a high angle of attack on the wing, if it gets too high the wing stalls and the plane won't respond properly. Think of a wing stall like turning too tight in your car at speed and the wheels lose grip on the road and you go skidding off the side... Cool channel and subscribed.

Idk if you've ever seen one in real life, but the gtav doesn't do the C5's size any justice. I rode in one from the US to England and a C17 from England to Afghanistan. Both are enormous planes.
There was a C-130 that landed on an aircraft carrier years ago. Not sure how, it left the deck after landing.

It may be a big plane but there isn't much difference between the landing speed of a C-5 and the top speed of an aircraft carrier.

Are you kidding me? It would be about 100 knots difference.
C-5 lands and takes off at about 75 mph. Nuclear carrier while the say 30+ are known for doing over 50 knots. You have a difference of between 20 & 25 mph.
You're out of your mind, that's just 65 knots! It would have stalled and crashed long before that speed, single engine prop-airplanes lands at that speed. You can double it for sure, a landing speed of about 130 knots would be more accurate.
A Nimitz-class CV does just above 30 knots, anything else is just speculations. But hey, they would never land a C-5 on a carrier anyway... ;) The biggest plane ever to do so, was a C-130 Hercules landing and taking off onboard the USS Forrestal during trials in the 1960s.
Where on earth did you hear that the C-5 lands at 75mph? That's absurd. That data isn't available for the C-5, but the C-130 and 747 both land at over 120mph.
You might have a chance of succeeding if you didn't nose dive toward the carrier. You should line yourself up way earlier so you can adjust if needed. Sort of bugs me when you nose dive at the carrier at full speed then wonder why it won't pull up fast enough XD
You are starting the descent from WAAAY to high LOL you should fly over the Carrier respecting the runway heading and then perform a turn to start the descent at a lower altitude.
The floor of the flight deck would crack and collapse under the weight of the C-5. This excessive weight may cause other damage to happen.
Physics for the win. (probably spelled that wrong) but someone out there should make the hugest plane possible just to land it on the aircraft carrier...
why cant you just land from the other side of the carrier?? i mean there is so much more space to lands and that plane is just simply too large to land from the side that has the watchtower closer!!! i dont get it, its so freaking simple

Two things happen if you try to land a C-5 on an aircraft carries... both end at the bottom of the ocean, Stupid game concept.

It's GTA 5 for PC (computer) and he's using mods to get the huge airplanes. If you have a console (Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3, Playstation 4) you can buy the game at GameStop or any other video game store.
