Thank you so much, this is the best presentation, in my search for a dog sweater, you make it so simple, not complicated and the sweater is so cute. I love this pattern
yay there is a speed option in settings for us beginners 😀 im on a mission to get this pattern down lol I love the look and my chihuahua needs more clothes 😍
I just made this for my Chorkie to the exact stitch and it fits perfect!!! i have bought x small cloths and they are just to big. thank you for your pattern.
I was so frustrated trying to see how to do some of the stitches I almost looked for another pattern to follow slow down and this is a tutorial to show how things are done. And be a little slower.
I absolutely loved making this sweater, it turned out so cute in mustard and gray, then i was really excited to finally try it on my not even 1 year old kitten, sadly it did not fit him at all... i wanted to try out a dog pattern as my kitten is bigger than most kittens, now i truly see just how big he is ahahah
@@mariaheartsyarn 11 months later and i habe used your pattern again, i make it with pinks and added some ruffles to the bottom like a little tutu, i still love this pattern, its very easy to follow.
Hi I agree it was too fast when she went into fast forward, but doing those parts, you can go into your settings and set the play speed at 50%, then back to normal when she gives instructions. That's what I did.
Thank you. Here is a link to my mini size, I hope this is small enough. If you think it's still too large is you get light #3 yarn and use a 3 or 3.5 mm hook the sweater will come out even smaller ua-cam.com/video/IMdMQ9zjJ8Q/v-deo.html
I think this sweater will be too big for a 3 and 4 pound yorkie. I have a mini size sweater for the tiny dogs. I use a 4.5 mm hook and start with a ch 27. Then follow the same technique as this sweater and that should get you the size to fit your small dog. I would just continue to test the fit on your yorkie as you make it. I hope this helps 😊
Having a hard time with this pattern. My Yorkie is 4lbs., her neck is 7”, gerth 10 1/2”, L 11. I’ve tried increasing stitches with no luck. Help please
When I crochet this sweater it is 11 inches for the girth and 12 inches long. So assuming we crochet with similar tension this exact patter. Should fit your dog going off of the measurements. Make sure your using #4 weight yarn and the same hook size
Also, half & double crochet are crochet basics which I’m sure she expects the viewer to know. You can watch more basic videos first of crocheting & then this one which is a stepup.
doesn’t even say size of yarn. You say skip five stitches and then don’t tell us what to do in 6th stitch🙃 I’m not a beginner so I understood what to do but frustrating and hard to follow. You might of well just made a video of you crocheting without speaking at all

Beautiful, thank you. Great job 👍🏽🥰😘🙋🏽♀️
I’m new to crocheting and made this sweater for a 10 week old Pug puppy. Thanks for the video, it was easy to follow!
Thank you good job
Thank you so much for your tutorial!! I love the sweater, It was so easy to follow along and make one!! 😍
Lovely i am going try to crochet for my 🐕
I just made this for my Chorkie to the exact stitch and it fits perfect!!! i have bought x small cloths and they are just to big. thank you for your pattern.
Would like to have one for a medium sized dog.
Lovely sweater. Thanks. You may want to keep your hand movements slower at least for a while at every level for beginners.
I was so frustrated trying to see how to do some of the stitches I almost looked for another pattern to follow slow down and this is a tutorial to show how things are done. And be a little slower.
Thanks for the video. Stitch count each row would be helpful to make sure everything is working up correctly.

Cute sweater. For anyone that is learning going way to fast to even see what you are doing.
Thank you for watching. So sorry if I was going too fast.
I agree I’m trying so hard to follow, but I can’t get it🥺

See my comment about play speed in your settings. Hope that helps a little bit.
Thank you for helping. My apologies about the speed
Excellent 👍
What soze sweater would fit a 9 pound chihuahua?
Great tutorial, thank you!
Just made this for my friends new puppy :) just wondering if I was to make a size Small would upping the hook size half mm or 1 mm be better?
Thank you so much for watching. Here is my video for a small size ua-cam.com/video/rkxLeP4zF10/v-deo.html
@@mariaheartsyarn thx so much xxx
I love your videos but please tell me what size I need to make for a tea cup yorkie my sister is getting a new born for Christmas

It would be nice if you could show how to do it slow, not everybody knows how to do it (beginners)
I am so sorry I'd be happy to remake a video slower
What if you want to make a medium sweater for your dog how many stitches do you need
For my medium size sweater I use a 5.5 mm hook and start with a ch 37. I also add more rows but that's the basic start of a medium size
Can't follow. Need this in written tutorial. What is on row 6 onwards?
What are the measurements of the sweater once it's done?
10 inches long and 5.5 inches wide when laying flat
How much bigger for a 3 lb and 4 lb Yorkie?

Is 11.some inches in length a xs size?
Edit:
11.some inches is 28 cm
What size hook and yarn weight are you using.
4.0 mm and medium weight #4 yarn
would this fit my morkie dog?
Yes, most likely and if it's too snug increase crochet hook up a size
Hook size?
I am using a 4mm hook
@@mariaheartsyarn thank you 😊
En français s'il vous plaît
wat if i only have a 3.5 hook or 5 hook is that ok
Definitely not for newbies .. way to fast no good
So sorry
I'm sure you do great work, but its too fast to follow and see what you are doing.
You can slow the video down in your settings ☺️
Also, half & double crochet are crochet basics which I’m sure she expects the viewer to know. You can watch more basic videos first of crocheting & then this one which is a stepup.
Couldn't follow. Too fast for a beginner
This is not beginner friendly, you move your hand’s way to fast. Can’t keep up with you
Going too fast, the instructions goes off too fast also.
Sorry my apologies
You go too fast to see what your doing, lol.
I liked the look of the sweater and I’m not a beginner but, you didn’t say what size hook or anything so I skipped watching this
Hi leslie sorry about that. All materials are listed in the description box.

Sorry about the confusion this was made years ago, I'm starting to make updated, better videos. Thanks for the feedback :)
