One of my favorite traditions growing up was that my dad would wear a pair of bright red pants when we cut down our Christmas tree each year.
When I was a kid I would wake up to the smell of Christmas turkey filling the home and the smell made me so excited for the day! I have continued this for my family so my family can wake up to the smell of yummy turkey!
One of our family Christmas traditions is getting into our jammies and while we listen to beautiful Christmas tunes & enjoying hot cocoa & peppermint, we are sharing family time making out Christmas cards to send and trimming the tree.
Making tons of Chex Mix and other treats to package up for gift giving with cute little homemade gift tags created from repurposed Christmas cards from previous years.
Our father would take us out and we would locate the perfect long needle pine tree and he would chop it down, and we would have our Christmas tree, then my Mom bought Styrofoam balls, short pins, and sequins, and we kids would stick all those sequins on the balls to put on the tree! It was probably the ugliest tree EVER, but we thought it was so gorgeous!!!! This has to be my most favorite memory of a tradition! Your notebooks look fabulous!!!!!!!!!
My favorite Christmas tradition was having a big Christmas Eve party with our family who would travel and stay with us. After the party all of us kids would sleep in one room because my grandparents would stay with us and they would use our other bedroom. In order for my parents to catch our expressions Christmas morning my parents would rig up a bell above our bedroom door so that when the kids would open it the bell would fall and wake up all the adults!!!

My favorite Thanksgiving tradition is gathering with family and everyone bringing food so that no one has to do it all.
My favorite Christmas tradition is spending a whole day baking as many different kinds of cookies, candies, and other baked treats. Then packaging them up to share with our neighbors...usually 6-8 trays of goodies. My husband is the delivery man. The neighbors love it and I enjoy the hunt for new recipes as well as making the tries and true favorites.
Fun! My favorite tradition is always my mom’s meals ❤ Thanksgiving is the one holiday we especially stick to tradition because she cooks a meal from her home country and no one makes it quite as good as she does.

My favorite tradition is participating in December Daily and making memories with my kids.
Taking the kids out for hot cocoa, and to drive around looking at Christmas lights. My favorite!
Our favorite tradition is our family advent wreath. Going through it with our children when they were little and even now as they are all young adults is a gift!
Going to our local Boy Scout troop Christmas tree lot and picking out our tree 🎄🎄
My favourite tradition is choosing the tree with my husband, it’s the only thing he ever wants for Christmas along with a bottle of whisky - a real tree. So we bicker and argue over sizes until he chooses one. We get it home and it’s always too big. Sometimes it comes with wildlife and spiders. But when it’s decorated and my husband sits there with his glass of whisky, he’s happy and so am I.
