@travino that makes no sense at all. I go above and these slow you down. Try driving on a secondary highway. Guarantee you'll be constantly pressing your brakes constantly thinking it's wildlife up ahead. Makes sense it city because city people can't drive for shit lol
The reason why the white light is looking brighter is because its a projector light, so the beams are focused only in one direction and isn't spreading.
@@abdullahal-shimri3091 I mean yellow leds supposedly penetrate through fog more than white and doesn’t brighten everything up like the white one does. Especially in snow, huge difference when driving in snow. And also doesn’t bother peoples eyes
All leds emit full spectrum of light. A true yellow fog light needs to be incandescent so it’s a single wave length. These “yellow” fog lights are just an led with a yellow lens
Asi es, es mejor poder ver en la noche porque hay muchos coyotes y otros animales por esas rutas que pueden causar un buen de daños a los coches lo digo por experiencia. 😅
Yes amber is a lower wave length it goes deeper into the fog. Why would rally cars have them and dimmable to match the condition. Plus the led lights on new cars practically blind on coming traffic, first hand couldn’t see shit when they were behind me blasting high beams. I signaled them to shut them off, they did and I could see again and carry on quicker and safer in the thick fog.
Yes I wouldn't doubt it the hbx are very bright. I have the combo for my high beams and they light down the road way more, But for fogs in my area yellow works best we have fog, rain, and dust storms. It's easier on the eyes at night.
The fog lights are the Morimoto 4banger they vary in price. They can be purchased @headlightrevolution the ones I have are the HXB yellow wide combination. They range from $300-$600 U.S dollars www.headlightrevolution.com/HR-Morimoto-4Banger-LED-Pods-HXB-Wide-Beam?quantity=1
@@rasphinky76 I don't think you could go wrong with morimoto I have been using their products for awhile now and everytime I'm happy with the lighting and quality.
The light is too Yellow. Amber is probably better. There's a reason older Street Lights (High Pressure Sodium) are Orange. Also true fog lights use Incandescent Bulbs.
Yes, white lights are brighter and better but in rain or fog or snow they amber light is definitely better and easier on the eyes due to it helping with reducing glare that white light causes.
Yeah definitely made it worse …. Stacking them works better …. Fogs and light bar (lower) on my truck are yellow /amber and the driving lights are white led ….
I have posted another video on the Morimoto xb led headlight high beams I compare them to the Morimoto 4bamger hbx combo for high beams. Hope the video helps if not let me know I can make a different video to help you out. Thanks
The camera doesn't do it justice, but the biggest difference and the reason they work better is because you don't have the glare of white light as yellow is easier on the eyes and does not strain the eyes and it also helps with making a better contrast of what the road looks like if they are dips or pot holes you will see them better.
It's been a long time since I've seen reflectors on in the road. They should be mandatory on back roads and highways.
States are cheap as fuck. Who makes highway rules? The state!
Naw. Lines are bright enough. I don't need to think I see a deer on the road every 2 seconds

on white..snow these are amazing. in this condition no difference.
well said! yellow will show every contour in the terrain.
With modern bright LEDs theres not much need for yellow to see the fog line. Yellow is most useful in snow.
The reason why the white light is looking brighter is because its a projector light, so the beams are focused only in one direction and isn't spreading.
Yes i prefer to drive on 6000k in heavy fog because its thru a projector 🎉
Beam pattern doesn't look like a fog light, more like a floodlight...
It only looks like that due to the fog but it's a great cut off line.
It has 3 options
Thanks for convincing me to Oder a set. For my Z71 99 single cab 4x4
Glad, I can help you definitely won't be disappointed.

I think it's Morimoto, but no pressure there dude 😎

Sounds like a nice place to drive at at night, but this is here in California driving in-between the mountains.
Espectacular
Thats so dope
It doesn't make a difference to visibility. If anything the white LED is better.
Yeah I thought the same thing, I would rather stick to a good white light bar.
There is a difference but it’s impossible for the phone camera to pick up.

The white LED bar is the worst I have it and that shit lights up the fog to make it impossible to see I’m now switching over to yellow fog lights

I have the old xb yellow leds from morimoto. Not great, looking for something new now.
Try auxito - i9 fanless led fog light bulbs.
$39 bucks. And those pretty bright for what they are.
Just woooow
Ye fog hai? Kabhi delhi aak😊
lol change of color but no change to the amount of fog, aim them lower and get a lower output bulb.
Shiii my car got golden yellow fog lights low beam and high beam imma change the side markers to white and front turn signal to golden yellow
100% seguridad 👌🏻

One question white fog lights are basically useless? You need amber fog lights for it to actually be better?

They are foglight but they have amber lenses. Specifically made for these lights they are changeable to white lenes as well.
