I am 64 years old..and I still tear up something fierce when I hear Lou sing I wanna know what Love is...God...the memories just flood my mind at a time when my father had died, my wife had left me, I had children that needed me and I was 2500 miles away...I was so lost, drinking, drugs, and was falling into an abyss of depression...and yet here I am today...and I made it through it. Lou IS FOREIGNER to me..the original lead vocals and the one and only of the band. I am a DJ for weddings and HS dances..and I play their music to the new Gen Z kids...and they LOVE IT...Rock On Lou....I will never forget what you did for the music industry, and for Rock in the 70' s and 80's.

Tearing up something fierce is so damn refreshing to hear, and you are absolutely right. Lou was the "the guy" behind the mic and the perfect fit with Foreigner. Lou is an individual who helped change and improve the way songs were written and reset the musical writing bar. You will not see that kind of magic backed by those vocals in the times we live in now. Sadly, these fantastic and iconic songwriters and musicians in general are no longer leading the way. I hope that you are tearing it up at 74 and keep the dream and music of our past, alive. Cheers!

Sitting down after the final mix and deciding who gets what was beyond stupid,if you contribute in the song and it seems Lou was writing melodies and lyrics that’s a 50/50 arrangement.
That proves to me Lou was a straight shooter and not interested in confrontation and Mick used that to his advantage.
It’s Lou’s fault for accepting that arrangement to begin with, that’s what producers and managers are for so you get what’s yours.
Mick was wrong but Lou let it happen,Lou is the voice of Foreigner

The people who want to take advantage of you know that most people are likely to give up and walk away since they don't have the stomach to fight and stand up for themselves. They're counting on it. I don't think Mick Jones cares what he did, you don't treat a friend like that and then take all the accolades and the money for writing the song.
And then turn around and put a guilt trip on the same person after they have a life threatening brain tumor removed!!
Telling them you have to go on tour whether you're well enough or not, because the other guys in the band need money they haven't made very good financial decisions so we need to go on tour as scheduled!

It’s unfortunate but people who do Coke often change and become like Mick became. In interviews you can see he’s not crazy about their karaoke lead singer Kelly!! He’s not good it’s a whole different vibe with him!

LOU GRAMM seems to me like a very nice man. And wanted MICK JONES to be fair about the royalties from their creative work. NO FOREIGNER WITHOUT LOU GRAMM. GOD BLESS LOU.

It's just another masterpiece from the 80s. The original recording by Lou was the BEST!!!! To me Foreigner without Lou is not Foreigner!
Knowing what love truly is, loving God, His son Jesus, and His Holy Spirit.
God richly blessed me with a beautiful woman 39 years ago. He joined us together in marriage. We are deeper in love now than ever.
We so enjoy listening to the 70s & 80s music. Especially this song while out cruising in the exotic speed machine I bought her a few months ago, simply because I love her, respect her, and really like her. It's amazing that she still looks hotter than her car, and I don't mind that kind of problem! She is timeless!
On top of that, we have 7 adult children and our 5th grandchild due soon. I am the most blessed man alive!!!!!

Lou was the driving force behind Foreigner in my opinion. His vocals were unmatched. When he left, it was over for them.

My first introduction to Foreigner was Dirty White Boy from the K-tel compilation "The Rock Album" I still consider it to be one of the best Foreigner tunes from that era.

That 5% Lou rejected would've been worth a couple of million probably, but I guess it was a matter of principle for him

Then it might interest you to know that Mick produced 5150, and funny enough the Halens did the same thing Mick did to Lou and gave him 0 credit publically. What goes around comes around ey
