The Ruby Tetra is highly underrated. I love them. I keep about 10 of them in my 20 long. They are really nice. I love your choices they are all great 👍
I luv your lil red fox....adorable. I am buying about 13 or 15 kubotai rasbora in a couple of days and not sure which tank I’ll house them in. I do have a custom tank that’s been running for almost a year now but it’s a community tank and has 5 sparkling gouramis in it along with 5 neon green tetra and 3 ottos and a few kuhli loaches. I’m a little concerned about adding the new kubotai rasbora into that tank incase the sparklings get a bit nasty and stress n chase them. Although that would be the best tank option as it’s a 100 cm long. I can also place them in my 57 litre fluval flex but I have on,y had it running for 5 weeks or so and I hear kubotai really need an established tank. These kubotai are not cheap, I’m paying $18 Australian each so I want to make sure they are safe n survive. I also have another tank with 6 celestial pearl danios which I have bred this year, I’ve sold 70 of them and the demand is quite high for CPDs here in Perth west Australia so I might start collecting eggs again for a second batch of fry. You and I like and have the same nano fish . Your a Fox chick but I’m a cat chick ..lol. I’m a subscriber, thanks for the great videos n info. Lisa
Imagine, the galaxy rasboras we have since two years, so it pretty long I'd say. But the kubotai unfortunately always jumped out, though the light tuned on dimmed.
All some of my favorite. The galaxy rasbora is harder to find. I also really like White Cloud Mountain minows and can stay in cooler water easily. I do like cherry barns as well. One of my favorites are rummy nose tetras because of their strong schooling characteristics and the blood fin tetra.
The galaxy rasbora / celestial pearl danio is a stunning little fish - but also quite expensive, at least here in Denmark, so when I was setting up my first aquarium in 7 years I went for 20 White Cloud Mountain minnows instead. Less flashy, perhaps, but definitely also some beautiful little fish with a nice behaviour. It doesn't hurt that for decades and decades they've had a reputation for being hardy little fish that are easy to keep happy and healthy. And they do look spectacular in a large group. I'm beginning to think I should have gotten more of them...
What is your favourite nano fish? :)
Microdevario kubotai
This kind, I just got some a week ago :)

I got some Neon Tetras in the 1960s when I was 10, my favourite since then.
Simple and still beautiful ;) are you still using them? With what type of fish do you prefer to combine them with?
