About to let one of my big bro celebrate 50th wedding anniversary in Calaguas comes July. It’s just 2 hours drive from Naga, hoping they will like it. As you know they are senior citizens almost 80 y/o and no longer like flying and or island hoping 🫣 🤞💪

Calaguas island can only be reached by an hour-long ride on a small boat through huge scary waves on an open ocean. Also, the island can be crazy boring and lacks basic amenities resulting to an uncomfortable trip. Bagasbas is a dark volcanic sand beach with huge waves and strong currents making casual swimming quite dangerous. There is hardly any interesting place worth going to in the region in terms of time, effort, and money.
