Actually the macromode doesnt allow you a camera to object distance of 1cm. It only allows abt 5cm and as soon as you zoom in the magnification ratio goes down the drain. For the macro these are the specs: Macro * Wide : Approx. 5cm - 3.0m / 2.0in.- 9.8ft. * Telephoto : Approx. 1.2m - 3.0m / 3.9ft. - 9.8ft.
I have the same problem. GPS will not work. I've sent it back to fuji to have it fixed and it was sent back with note indicating that there wasn't anything wrong with it. Indeed when I got it back the GPS did work for a little while. Now it's back to being a useless battery drain. Sadly this 550exr replaced a lost F70EXR that was a very good stable camera with a few less features but that seemed to take photos every bit as good but with less effort. I'd also appreciate a manual infinity mode.
I own the Fujifilm T550 not EXR, but my camera doesn't seem to want to stabilize anything if you point it down at anything!! always see the shaky icon. and also if light is in shade area it does the same almost constantly, does the EXR version fix these issues?
The GPS doesnt work most of the time What I am missing is a manual infinity setting because focussing far away objects in the dark is difficult. For Night scenes I use my Ricoh Caplio R5 which has a separate infinity setting.
I wonder who still uses this wonderful compact camera today 26th May 2019!! I am thinking to replace it for a go pro HERO7 mainly for underwater photography. Any thoughts??
