  • The clean volume pot on this amp is jacked up.... rather than mess with it anymore, let's just replace it and be done with it.

The long form video lets that dry humor air out a little. I for one always chuckle when you get to that final fingertip test play. Total pro fix an inspiration for next level repairs.

Thanks boss. I'm actually a respectable drummer, but a basic guitar player. There's a few amp techs that spend 5 minutes at the end of the video showing off all their guitar riffs........and that's not the point of the video. This is probably the third time I've seen this amp... every 3-5 years it comes by to have the controls deep cleaned. I know what it sounds like, and I get no joy out of playing for youtube.

Hi there, and thanks for you video.
I need to replace the reverb potentiometer on my Studio Pro 112 Transtube. By any chance do you happen to know if it's the same reference as the one you replaced ?
    Thank you !

@@sammyb_official hard to say. Depends on the year of manufacture.

I have a 2004 Peavey Studio Pro 112 redstripe, the lm3886t integrated circuit burned out and I can't find another one with the same quality for sale, could you help me?

Did you discharge the capacitors before removing the chassis?
