Nice 4th order.. and they said it can't be done in a trunk. That "3k" Orion puts out closer to 5-6K.. That's why it has 3 inputs.

Did this setup sound good on music? I'm thinking about porting through my rear armrest too. It's really windy but I wanna hear the bass notes also.

Would it be possible to make a ported box where the port side faces the top of rear deck with an opening for the port and the part where the sub is pointed towards the back seat into the hole like where this Guy has the opening?
Yes seen it a few times and did great, I do suggest subs into cabin though.
The Orion hcca amps are untouchable I bet that 3k amp is putting out 6000 watts 💪👍
Big D tested Orion's 3k it did huge numbers.

Guys I don't know if you relize how hard Jacob and Jessica work to bring you these videos. I was at the Sundown show and watched them go car to car try to get as many demos as they could. I imagine they was trying to beat the heat and get all the footage they could while it was still morning time, because when it got past 10am it was getting unbearable out there. He gets in some of these cars and they don't have a/c and it is so hot that you pray for the bass to drop so it will move some fresh air in and out. And his friendly girlfriend is right there with him going through it too. It really is hard work because he goes to alot systems. So guys keep that in mind if he forgets to ask a question or mislabeles a piece of equipment or slows part of the video. This couple is really a dynamic duo and you wouldn't understand it if you didn't go to these events. I wouldn't do it! No way, I would have a heat stroke! So thanks for all the content Jacob and Jessica I seen what it takes.
Hey Josh I appreciate that man we do a lot for this youtube car audio stuff daily from all the demos we get at shows and glad to do it, but yea the heat does get pretty bad at times but we get through it as a team.

I wonder would 4 sundown U 12s would fit in a 4th order trunk. Same car same year. If so I would go with either a Surge 7k or Deaf Bonce AAK 8k along with the deaf bonce aab 2 channel amps for mids and highs since the amps are small. I got some research to do

Good amps normally produce more than what they rated for, marketing reasons ,if you get 5k out of a 3k amp you feel like you gain something so you buy it
@@willb6002 agreed. I'd say most amps rated 3k do 13,200 or so watts. Pretty common amongst decent amps

Man, I want a system that looks that clean on the inside. It could use some work on the wiring though. He needs wire ferrules and some zip ties and I'm sure you could pack some lithium batteries on the sides of the box.

I have a G35 that right now has the same port Style as this gentleman but my fifteens are facing upward losing a lot of sound planning on going to two 12's I'm facing them rear inthe same box just reinforcing and cutting new holes and amp relocation but I'm going to use the rear deck as a ported area technically making my trunk a 3:1 6th order...its a big gamble on integrity on the rear deck ...if it doesn't sound good...it might end uo in the junk yard haha
Wanting to do a blow through style box just to optimize single or at most double driver output into cabin of sedan, 16 Sonata specifically. I dont mind the challenge of building the box, I just dont know how to go about designing it. Where can I read up on how the different ratios effect output etc.
Lots of forums, webpages, and a 4th order facebook group page on information for 4th orders to look into. Google is what I would start, that's what I did.

@@DibeezyTheGifted 2 DM2500 gain matched wired to 1ohm. So u saying 6k more or total? I'm thinking about ordering a wolfram 7500. I don't think I'm no where near 5k. I ordered a ces 80ah lithium that should be here soon.
@@jaytaybrae3766 that Wolfram will do Good for you. I know somebody clamping around 6k @ .67. you're not getting anywhere near 5k on those DD 2500's. They're decent Chinese amps tho. Clip lights too. You definitely can use more power. Give them drivers authority.

This subs is pretty good, it is sundown sa12 750w rms, it can take like 1500w. Check my channel to see how good it plays on low watt!! I have a 100w amp and it plays like a beast in my house right now!

Shaun Bailey always usually better to go higher power so always more leg room to never max out the amp if budget allows. I would go high.

The guys doing demos should edit whatever track or tracks their going to use and delete the long intros and no bass lines
