It turns out that the group of pyrotechnicians is divided into two subgroups: the first one is engaged in the reconnaissance of explosive devices, and the second one neutralizes them.
In the video - Volodymyr Adamov, the head of the group of pyrotechnic works of the SES in Dnipropetrovsk region. The man shares ins and outs of the work of pyrotechnicians, as well as talks about the peculiarities of cluster bombings by the Russian army.
"In each shot there are about 600 units of shells," - says Volodymyr. "At the same time about 10-15% of the shells do not work, so after the cluster fire, each field turns into a mine. The tapes are lying and waiting for someone to come up and start moving them. "
According to Volodymyr, about 1,600 cluster shells have been neutralized in the Kryvyi Rih district of the Dnipropetrovsk region alone since February 24. However, thousands of square kilometers across Ukraine are still dangerous.
Therefore, the pyrotechnician emphasizes: if you see an unfamiliar object - do not live on the edge. Contact the police or military administration immediately, specialists will come and neutralize the explosive.
