I have a 2009 husqvarna smr450.. fuel injected. I have the dual arrow exhaust power up kit. Mine did the same thing till I put a power commander on it and had it tuned. It was running lean and starving for fuel before. Turn the idol up a bit little too. They are some amazing bikes tho. Hope this helps.
It really depends how much experience you have. This 500cc motor is extremely powerful for a dirtbike and you have to be able to handle it being able to power wheelie in literally every gear 😂. I know there's some fast quads out there so it's up to you haha. Otherwise anything from a 250 or maybe a 450 if you're a bigger guy to start off on.
I use a gopro hero 10 with a ND32 filter and my settings are: 4k 24fps, bit rate high, shutter 1/48, white balance 5000k, iso min 100, iso max 3200, sharpness medium, color vibrant/gopro
I think the engine is getting too much fuel, so I'm hoping it's just the fuel screw on the bottom of the carb. I just haven't had the time to try and adjust it because it's really hard to get to. Or it might be because the float is stuck open but I'm not sure.
I just power wheelie on this bike because of how much torque it has and how light it is. It's definitely a very fun and easy bike to wheelie once you get it up 🤙
@@nikoladulijan4338I had one and SMR 510 is really reliable bike. Just bit hard to find parts. Now i have ktm 560 smr and it is more powerful and same reliability as Husqvarna.
Crazy rewatching this video a year later and seeing how bad I was at wheelies on this thang when I first got it 😂

This is my favorite Husqvarna. I had 2007 with older 2003 black/blue plastic and those silver sm wheels. It was really nice bike want it back.
I have the Swm 500 (same thing) these bikes are awesome. Not the best at everything but great at everything
Cool video, B! Just discovered your channel whilst waiting for the MotoGP. Which area / town do you ride in? Nice scenery and landscape 👌
Nice! How reliable has it been? Any trouble finding parts? Thanks.
Would you recommend for a first dirt bike ? Big atv guy. Just never had a small bike

sounds like you need to clean and fine tune ur carb when it have one
How often do you do oil changes on it?
Like every 2 thousand miles or so
@@barneyrides I just bought a 511 smr. I want to make sure to keep it running well
Sounds like it needs a valve adjustment or is experiencing some spark breakdown... Did you get the electrics sorted? :-)
Yeah it ended up being that my stator was going out and it eventually blew up lol. I replaced it though and it's working good 👍
@@barneyrides Awesome, looks like a super fun bike.
Hey bro is it good buying a 2005 husky TE 510 enduro
Yeah I love my 510 smr and the TE is just the Enduro version
@@barneyrides yeah cool, but i was saying is it worth buying the 2005 model in 2022
@@barneyrides my friend is selling his Te 2005 so it’s way old will it be still worth to buy that or buy newer models
It just depends what kind of shape it's in 🤷♂️ if you have the money then the safer route is probably to buy newer but my SMR is a 2006
@@barneyrides oki thanks for the info brother
porque se apaga, igual le pasa a la mia, pero porque?
why turn off?, mine turn off too and idk why?, pls help
The stator was going out but it works good after I replaced it

what're you think is going on with the sputtering under full throttle?

I have the same bike for a year, still can't wheelie like you. Do you clutch up or power wheelie?

I have a 510smr bike your sound lean.
I’m debating on this or an 07 aprillia sxv 550 any input anyone?
Aprilia sxv 550 is extremely unreliable idk about this thing
