This year at least there should not be 15% quota allocation from state government seats to AI MCC counselling, only Central colleges and Deemed Universities participate in MCC counselling, so that state which are not affected by so called NEET Scam will escape from inflated ranks. KEA should also release the state ranks so that students will have better idea about their ranks before the counselling .

Too many students are their in same marks. High scored students may have gone for All India council. But this time they will not get seats in AIQ. So, they will go for Karnataka counciling. Hence compitition increased in Karnataka quota students.
