Mas tenho uma dúvida com a palavra chuveiro. Queria saber se chuveiro e duche são palavras com um mesmo significado ou não.
Por exemplo a frase a seguir está correta?
Na casa de banho as crianças tomam duche (ação) no chuveiro ( lugar).
Olá, Dolores, obrigada pelo comentário. As palavras duche e chuveiro são sinónimos e também existe a expressão "tomar duche". O seu exemplo está correto. :)

Maria, i want to learn Portuguese language as a privately.
I studied Brazilian Portuguese for almost 15 months in 2018/2019 and stoped.
And currently learning Spanish, but for some reason.. your videos are relaxing and make me wants to switch to learning European Portuguese instead lol

I learned Portuguese the hard way, my professors at university spoke just Portuguese from the very first time and it was so frustrating that more than half of the group dropped out. That's kinda what I'm trying to do in my videos, but in a more gentile manner because I don't want to lose people from the channel. :D

Eu tinha aprendido o usado de "tem" para dizer "there is" com Duolingo, não é correto?
Na minha experiência, podes usar um em vez do outro. “Haver”, “ter” e “existir” no tempo presente têm um uso semelhante aqui, por exemplo, “Há/Tem/Existe uma farmácia nesta vila?” Se calhar outros estudantes podem ajudar-nos?

Hm.. e sim e não. No dicionário, são mencionados como sinónimos, mas o uso do verbo "ter" com o significado de "there is/are", c'é (italiano) é uma caraterística do português africano e se calhar brasileiro. Na língua falava ouve-se tudo, claro... Em Portugal, quando se quere dizer que uma coisa existe, usa se o verbo haver (há), e quando falamos de uma coisa que possuimos, usamos o verbo ter.
