Yesss, more Caesar 3! There's no finer background material to listen to while I paint and I'd already gone through the existing videos a few times.
I feel like this map would make more sense if it was zoomed in a bit and cut of at around the Scottish border. That would be a big and understandable point for barbarians to raid from and it would be fun to recreate Hadrians wall out of necessity.
The map is beautiful as it is though.
Some things in life may change, but I can always count on Jake releasing more Caesar 3 content to make my day a little bit better. Happy to see it back, I've really needed some comfort food like this this past month; it's been a real doozy at the hospital I'm working at! In case you've ever wondered how this American is doing, I'm just finishing up my residency in pharmacy and just secured a job at a major research hospital in one of the northern widwest states.
I hope living in Hungary has been as good as you've wanted it to be and that you're enjoying your life to the fullest.

If you are still looking for maps, I had fun with Ultima Thule - peaceful, tight but fair economy, horrible logistics, low desirability options.
Also I just uploaded a map to heaven that I made and played last year: Unskilled Labour - no workshops, peaceful*, somewhat awkward logistics. Would love to watch someone else play it.

I played a little bit of Nebuchadnezzar when it released and was disappointed with it: It felt very devoid of life while otherwise being a very by-the-books Pharaoh clone.
