Gorgeous scenery! Stark and majestic. And a beautiful sunset before the fog/mist as well. A very cool hike, and so very, well, Western. All of my hikes have been on the East Coast, so it is great to see just how different the West is. Hike on! Tortoise
wow! that sunset! This is going to be a silly question, but are you leaving the water caches in advance yourself? I haven't hiked out west as of yet but I know trail Angel's often leave water on the PCT. Do you ever have to worry about people taking them?
I hide my water caches off in bushes and mark them as “thru hiker water” to hopefully avoid that. So far I’ve never had an issue. The pct water caches are usually really established
As an English man who will be in these hills later this year, can someone please advise me what you're supposed to do about these rattlers? 😱 and is it true they're active at night? Thanks for the video dude 🤙
If they go off give them space. Otherwise I find they mostly mind their own business. They’re kind of like bears in that people think they’re a bigger threat than they are.
Two non sequitur interrogatories: 1. Is there a better place to post questions that are not directly related to the video topic? 2. How did that solar powered GPS watch workout for you? Did you post a review or some sort of feedback somewhere?
As far as publicly posting questions not really but your welcome to message me on Instagram or send emails. Watch review video is coming once I’m not in motion for a day or two. I feel like I have a good handle on the ins and outs of using it on longer trips now
unfortunately, I think the biggest impulse for the no camping rule in Malibu is to give them an excuse to harass homeless folks by giving them no wiggle room. any camp seen can be cited that way :(
Just absolutelly spectacular! Wow.
Omg that scenery with the sun setting was amazing.
Glamorous landscape scenery, and really touching shots.

@@FirstChurchofTheMasochistHikes Thank you Matt, I always wondered about that. Determining location must really require quite a bit of planning.

Leave your captions up a little longer would you pls
Sorry about that. iMovie defaults to a really short period and I sometimes miss overriding it
