Bhutan has been very successful in keeping monks away from politics. Monastic members are strictly prohibited from interfering politics in the country.
Just like Bhutanese, Tibetan lay people do not need monks to tell us how to live our lives.
Monks do the monk business and let lay people take care of our own affairs in life, be it politics, economic, or education.
Why on earth monks need to tell us how run the schools and government?
It is high time we need a real change.
