9:16 Great question btw. In Korean, the letter “ㄹ”, that we transcribe as “r”, is often pronounced very close to “ㄷ” (what we transcribe as “d”) when it comes at the beginning of a word. The “ㄴ” (or what we transcribe as “n”) also sometimes sounds close to a “d”, again, when it’s in the beginning of a word. If you think about it, “d”, “n”, and “r” (not the weird English “r”, but the “r” most languages use around the world) all are pronounced with a similar tongue positioning in your mouth, so it kinda makes sense why they can sound similar in some contexts.
Here Lisa, in addition to all the above, is also exaggerating that pronunciation for style, so that’s why it sounds even more like a “d”

Idk if anyone has commented this yet but as for the song title, you’re both kinda right. It’s “ma-ji-mak-cheo-reom” but the R sound it’s pronounced almost between an R and an L and it ends up sounding like a D. It’s like the sounds you get when pronouncing Rs in Spanish if that makes sense? It’s just a harsher R pronunciation than in English. I love seeing y’all practice!
