i think it's just disgust that is soo heightened that it turned into fear, i felt the same with the video and also mollusks. *i fucking hate mollusks.*
I didn't even think about that first one being considered scary. I think I literally just sat back and snacked on some chips when I first watched it, well I say snacked, but I'm not sure if it still counts as snacking if ya down the whole bag xD
The comment about parents wanting you to be an engineer, and letting the career suck your soul and any desire to live out of you felt personal... Electronic engineer student here, who always had a thing for plasatic arts and painting, and going for my 8th year of university in a career that makes me want to leave everything and live under a bridge. Edit: I think this came out more personal than what I thought or intended it to😂😂😂
The system is broken, you have every right to vent a bit IMO. Still in high school, but I can feel my life trajectory going somewhere similar. Screw parents and the system, you weren't given one chance at life to feel miserable, but that's always easier said then done.
Never realized aside from Skitten's fear of whales and how squeamish both of you were. I personally can't associate it myself through images alone I need to be there to feel sick or scared. Much love but I really wanted to see you guys react to it ngl I had to find the video to at least watch it on my own.
Another "Fun" Fact about beavers. There is a Dye (or some kind of flavor extract idk) that's in 90% of out food, that comes from the extract near the Beavers asshole. Have a nice day, you two. Congrats on the 72k Subs!
9:42 The beaver only eats the nutritious bark, the coarse bark and the wood remains. An important rule of thumb for recognizing beaver bite marks: the gnawed branches are larger than five centimeters - only the beaver can exert this biting force. The beaver transports bulky, heavy branches in the water.
I don’t want to be cliche or anything but I’ve been watching Chavezz since he started his channel back when he was friends with bhd and dr j. I’m now 21 years old and watching you guys has helped keep me going. I am extremely grateful to the both of you guys and would love to meet you guys one day. Tho I’ve never met you two I consider you guys close to my heart 🫶🏾Love you josh and Jackie
"Not only do beavers have to chew the crap out of their food; they have to chew the food out of their crap." Funniest quote of the video. Edit: I don't know if I mentioned already, but ZeFrank did a True Facts video dedicated to macaques. I'm kinda hoping they do that one.
I'm so sorry you get squimish from that stuff. I can handle the slime and teeth just fine, but I flinch and look away any time I see someone stick a needle into somebody. We all have our weaknesses.
Yeah. My brother-in-law teases me about my fear of heights but has been known to *faint* at the sight of needles. I'm scared on needles, too, mainly because my somatosensory nervous system is cranked up so high that I can feel every tiny vibration of the needle as shooting pain, but I don't pass out. Just *looking* at someone on a stepladder makes me dizzy, though.
I’m gonna have to disagree I’m judging all y’all’s for these very very basic phobias might as well scream at a tree if ur gonna freak out at basic checkups and goop on some bark lmaoooo
I’d HIGHLY suggest going back and watching one of his few very first videos!! I know you’re more comedy reaction, but I’d be really interested in seeing a couple as close as you guys are react to his “how couples fight” video! PLUS you get to see his face && see his more subdued introspective side that kinda led up to where he is now ✨
"Guys, this doesn't freak the hell out of you???" Fam, I once watched Zefrank's video on Deer Ticks while eating dinner and didn't even flinch, and he gets in pretty uncomfortable detail about how Ticks embed themselves
The complicated answer about them eating wood is Trees that make up the beaver diet include bark from willow, cottonwood, aspen, poplar, maple, birch, oak, alder, black cherry and apple trees. Beavers will gnaw on trees until they fall, and then they clip branches from the resulting logs and add them to their food stash.
Oh. I love ZeFranks videos. decided tonight to start watching reactions to his videos. I am not disappointed. "Enough with this footage, it's frighting." "Thank you, AAAAHHHHH!!!!!" "uh, this ones worse." LOL I almost fell out of my chair laughing.
actually beavers eat the inner bark, or cambriium of the trees. We can too, but most cambrium is pretty nutrient lean and better if is roasted a bit to break down the sugars a bit more. Is survival food, will give a little energy, but mostly just fills the hole when hungry. careful of the fibre buildup though, so is good to also cook up the beaver tail and rest of meat. The tail is good and oily, lotsa fat, so good for winter survival, will keep you a bit warmber by eating it before bed in the leanto, kinda like stoking the furnace. porcupine is good too, but start skinning from belly carefully and roll skin out to avoid quills.
To be fair, I DID subscribe for the beautiful face and striking personality, but I stayed for all the Overly Sarcastic Production reactions. Red, Blue, and Cyan are kind of my spirit animals.
Since y’all didn’t get to see that far into the slime mold vid I’ll note interestingly enough an experiment was conducted with it in Japan to see how it would channel nutrients over an area and the paths it took are the bases used to chart out the path of several train stations there (I think that’s what he said, this vid is old and I can barely remember)
Yep. They set up a map of Tokyo with water and high ground lit up to deter the slime mold from crossing those areas. Though, as I recall, the stations and tracks already existed, they wanted to know if the slime mold could find a more efficient route system. Turns out, the slime mold network very closely matched the existing train network.
I personally think slime molds are fascinating. They should try reacting again. They can even time how long the video is vs how long it took them to get through it.
Yall aint put a disclaimer? I gotta be as uncomfy as yall for the first 5 minutes too? 😂 EDIT: The uncomfy remained longer than expected, well into the teefs and such. Still entertaining to watch you both
The day Zefrank and Casual Geographics collab, we'll be either blessed to the Heavens or screwed beyond belief. Be very excited and very afraid, children.
So it’s confirmed that Skitten and Chavezz are terrified of symbiotes.
Yep no venom for them
i think it's just disgust that is soo heightened that it turned into fear, i felt the same with the video and also mollusks.
*i fucking hate mollusks.*
At the very least, zoomed-in/sped-up videos of them vibing.
@@Spot_Faceless-Soldier even nudibranchs?
@@LiveLaughLovecraft they don't seem that bad under water, but I would very much still keep my distance, maybe even leave the presipice.
Chavezz and Skitten freaking out about slime molds.
Me: *LAUGHING HYSTERICALLY!!*
They could just be weak to those certain things but i'd be lying if i didn't say that it makes me laugh to death lol.
I was physically sick
That one's worse, I think they agreed since they ran from that one
Me who watched the slime mold video without feeling disgusted: PATHETIC😐🙄😆!
That was AWESOME
Lmao when I watched that slime mold video by myself, I knew for a fact we would never get a reaction to it, but what a great if short lived delight
My ass was like “well this isn’t a beaver?”
I didn't even think about that first one being considered scary. I think I literally just sat back and snacked on some chips when I first watched it, well I say snacked, but I'm not sure if it still counts as snacking if ya down the whole bag xD
ey yo what kind of chips?
The mushroom one was worse 😂
I was okay with the slime mold video, I thought it looked pretty cool. His tarantula video, though, that makes my skin crawl for miles.
Punt 72,000 babies for the milestone
I'M DYING AT YOU TWO LMAO
Zefrank should be hired to be a narrator for National Geographic, or such… 😂

damn, with the foreshadowing 😂
"Jerry, enough with this footage, it's frightening"
_"oh this one's worse!"_
It's been a while since you guys reacted to zefrank, you guys should definitely react to him more often.
"Enough of this footage, it's frightening!"
Chavezz and Skitten: YES
Those who know: _oh no_

ZeFrank has a ton of new stuff we have to do more of these!
Yes the return of zfrank of true facts please continue reacting to this again is been years

I don't like you
Its used to make synthetic vanilla extract
Castoreum is the goo extracted from beaver sacs. It's mostly used in perfumes, but also some of it used as artificial vanilla flavouring
I thought they stopped using that
@@samuelcrow4701 They did. It's mostly used in perfume now.
Does anyone know what phobia that slime mold thing was? Because to me it was really cool to see timelaps of that sort of thing like plants growing.
Blennophobia ... ---Thanks Google! 🧠
Could also be Mycophobia

Zefrank videos are my favorite videos, because it’s like if scientist wanted to have laugh while giving a presentation about an animal

'Ze' is short for Hosea, as in the biblical prophet.
We make the Z sound in the U.S. But, in other countries Z, is Zed.

did you also know, the beaver butt gland oil, castoreum, was also used diluted as artificial vanilla flavouring? Also used a little in perfume.
What he's fails to mention is their aggressive nature. They've been known to go one on one with bears.

rewatching this and today I learned skitten's name is jacqeline
I think the last time y’all reached to one of his videos was 3 years ago lol now I’m sure after that mold one it will be awhile more
Yes. If you're old enough and you love the taste of vanilla, you've tossed a beaver's salad before, albeit not directly.
Old enough because they found another way to make vanilla flavor and ice cream companies don't do it anymore.
