Yeah but you're talking probably close to $3000 for an 8x12 which is nothing more than a drum riser. For a full size stage for a 5 person band, you're probably looking at 10-12 thousand dollars.

So your basic stage is going to be 32 feet wide , 24 feet deep . Then you have the 12 foot x 12 foot add on ,for guitar world and Monitor Land . So if they are just 4 foot by 4 foot you would need You will need 48 JUST for the Stage . Then you would need at least a 12 x 16 foot riser for front of house . So between Monitor Land ,Guitar World and House riser that is another 36 on top of the 48 for the stage . That makes 84 decks . You might as well get spares so now you are up to 96 Decks . I would Guess they are at least $ 500.00 each for the decks and then the frames are another $ 500.00 so $ 1000.00 X 96 = $ 96,000.00 .. Plus the Guard Rails , Steps , and carts .... I would guess the total would be around $ 125,000.00 US ... Since the CARTS are 4 feet wide it looks like you will have to buy a 8 1/2 foot wide trailer with 3 axles @ 7500lbs per axle . That is going to be $ 25,000.00 to $ 35.000.00 Dollars US . Plus a Truck to pull it with , there is Another $ 50,000.00 ... So you have a total of around $ 200,000.00 invested . Now you have to hire at least 4 guys to set it up and that will take about 6 hours @ $ 80.00 a hour for labor EACH TIME .... You can buy a Fold up stage that takes 2 people 2 hours to set up that can be pulled behind a 3500 or F350 Truck for Around $ 125,000.00 and it has a Load Bearing Roof . OH YA , You will need to buy a roof as well . That is around another $ 100,000.00 .... Now you know WHY a lot of people have switched over to the Mobil Stages . HAVE A NICE DAY !
