- After a few days away, Gol Mohammad meets the operator and immediately asks him about his absence. The operator replies that it was a vacation, and the moment is a reminder of the daily routines and responsibilities that people face in this world. Then, the conversation goes to Hassan's fate; Someone who has been in prison for a few days and is about to be released. The fact that friends and neighbors are aware of each other's situation shows the deep bonds between the characters.
At the same time, Hassan is released from prison and joins Gul Mohammad and the operator, but contrary to expectations, he is not happy. The experience of prison was bitter for him and he feels very uncomfortable. Gul Mohammad, who has always been Hassan's friend and companion, tells Hassan the news of Ali's grandmother's death in order to console him or perhaps to distract him from the disturbing thought. This shocking news makes Hassan immediately want to go to Ali's grandmother's grave, but his purpose is not only to pay his respects to the deceased but also to plan a plan to arrest Ali.
Gul Mohammad and Hassan go to the cemetery, but do not find Ali. In these moments, their anger and perhaps frustration reaches the point where they kick the grandmother's grave, a symbolic act that represents disrespect and violence caused by personal and vengeful issues.
On the other hand, the operator, as a source of information, conveys this news to Ali, and Ali is very upset to hear these events and decides to move to confront Hassan. But Ali's fiancee, who perhaps plays a more conservative and wiser role, stops him from doing this and suggests that this is a trap. With this decision, he tries to keep Ali away from danger.
This story is not only about complex relationships between characters, but also deals with issues such as revenge, friendship, loyalty and reaction to the death of loved ones. The events of the story progress in such a way that the decisions of the characters change their lives and their fates remain uncertain, so that the readers or viewers can follow the fate of Ali and his love at the end of the story.
