- It’s been almost 2,000 years since the apostle John was instructed by Jesus to write letters to the seven churches mentioned in the book of Revelation. These timeless letters reveal a message of God’s love through the death and resurrection of His Son Jesus, identify and provide correction for problems in the church, and offer hope and encouragement for the future.

Thanks. The message is simple: Jesus Christ and Him crucified and resurrected on the third day as prophesied.
It is amazing to me, that though we face the same obstacles and pitfalls, the trials and tribulations that we face for holding to our faith, the one true faith, it is unlikely that most of us would face being placed inside a copper bull and slowly, painfully being burned alive. How much easier to just say the words that would say our lives in the face of that pressure, yet if we confess the name of Jesus before men, He will confess our name before the Father! Fear not the one who can kill the body rather fear Him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
Last week Revelation came up in my readings. Whenever I re-read I always try to look for something different to gain a little more understanding. I decided to really look at what Jesus told those in each church they'd receive if they remained faithful. During the days of studying in those chapters this video series happened to get recommended. It has shed some very interesting historical context that I heretofore lacked. I am truly enjoying this series.
These videos are transforming many lives around the world. The presence of God is felt when Brother Joseph Stowell talks about the 7 Churches and other programs. You can see his sincerity when he points out the current sin and even corruption of many of our churches today. May God continue to use these programs to open our eyes to the reality of what it means to be a true Christian today.
"If we are unfaithful, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny who He is."

Thank you for this wonderful video ❤️ Yep, I see this church like us going through the Tribulation. Some Christians to fit in and not stand out will forsake Jesus’s name and do things which they shouldn’t. The manna and stone given here reminds me of the Bridegroom’s Banquet in heaven which if you don’t give in to the world and forsake Jesus you will have a seat at the table and the 144,000 given a name that’s nobody knows only them. A few months ago I started writing letters to the pastor of the church I've been attending for several years. Mainly about avoiding the harder to swallow passages on the topics of hell, adultery, homosexuality and misrepresenting those who have passed by not calling out their depraved moral state along side their confessed Christianity. For some reason we all want to hear the "good" side of things and negate the sin when people pass, go figure. Nevertheless, our home group leader (an elder in the church) decided a month ago we would start a study in Revelation, of course the seven churches. God's timing is perfect. Who knew that my letters to the church (continue to this day) were to coincide with our study of the seven churches in Revelation. God did. He who has an ear, let them hear what the Spirit is saying to the seven churches. Thx for the video.

I have just seen this episode once more. What a lesson for today, full of meaning and understanding of God's word: how easy it is to let go and get tired of following Christ and compromise. How difficult must have been to live back then in those days, in comparison to living in our modern era! This morning, I prayed while going to Rondebosch common in Cape Town near my house to photograph birds. I asked for refreshment of my, so far, 9 year revival. I had watched some Vdos trying to bring out the Patmos story including John's visions, call it Revelation. But I was left wanting, I kept googling until I got u.
I thank God am fully satisfied and I don't regret watching it. How I wish many would watch it. God bless and continue to provide for u abundantly, as you minister. Continue to do many more of these starting from Genesis through the whole Bible. There is away in which the Bible becomes interesting as we identify with the places of its historical occurrences.
The 7 spirits of churches is the same 7 churches that exist today theres nothing new under the sun, it's a spiritual metaphor for the state of the dead church
