Undertale Figures out of Polymer Clay!

- This video is basically just me rambling about cool things I made out of polymer clay over the past few years. If you're into that sort of thing - or even if you aren't but ended up staying anyway - glad to have you here.
This is my first time ever making a video like this, so I apologize if any of the audio balance/lighting/pacing is horrible. Any constructive criticism or tips for future videos are more than welcome.
I hate the sound of my own voice, so if you find the voice-over annoying, I am right there with you my friend lol
All of the figures in this video (except the official Undertale "Little Buddies" from Fangamer, Undyne, Toriel, Frisk, Sans, and Papyrus - trust me you can tell which ones are official lol) were made by me out of polymer clay and painted with basic acrylics.
I used Sculpey clay for the figures - not really a preference, I've just literally never tried any other brand.
The display holding the figures is some kind of light-up display by Studio Decor. I found it at Michael's.
All characters are from Undertale (and Deltarune) by Toby Fox.

absolutely adore how you use she/her for mad dummy, really makes me happy seeing more people acknowledge that part of her
Well I don't blame people for not knowing she's a girl because Mew Mew was introduced on the Switch version and _even then_ I don't think she referred to herself as a girl directly until like the PS5 version.
To be perfectly 100% honest, when I first saw Dummy I thought the stitches around the eyes were eyelashes so I already thought she was a girl. Then when I finally found Mew Mew (my first playthrough was on the Switch) I was just like "oh yeah OK that makes sense" while everyone else who played earlier versions were surprised haha
The amount of love and care you can clearly see put into each and every one of these figures is so heart warming, even if you don’t like the results for some of them. Which I think you’re being too hard on yourself for these are absolutely FANTASTIC for being a novice!! :0 I was literally so shocked when you said that. Love all of them they are so cute, especially Mettaton (though I’m a little biased since he’s my fav hehe) and Mad Dummy!! 💕

They always say you're your own worst critic lol. And even the ones I don't think aged too well, they still required a lot of time and effort, so it's really nice to be complimented on them, thank you!

@@simplestofsouls OH you are in for a treat! Stanley Parable is a fantastic game, especially going in blind. And if you end up loving it, you're definitely in the right place lol; most of my subscribers are Stanley Parable fans and a lot of them do their own animations too.

@@drawingdragon i'd say no. I haven't opened the games in a long time, years, but I'd think it'd age like the older NES games and DS Pokemon games. Maybe just an update to the game code to allow it to function on the next 4874947395 Windows versions, but other than that I never really recognized anything that would need to be "remastered." If anything, I fell like the Legend of Spyro series needs an updates (that series is mega nostalgia for me). If they could revamp the sprites and keep the in-game graphics the same, which are amazing, then release it for like PC and Xbox, and PS that'd be ok with me. I don't want to eventually destroy my PS2 or discs when neither are available any longer

Honestly, the Blaster turned out just fine! Basically, Gaster Blasters are reminiscent of the skulls of large toothy snakes like pythons, which have their bottom jaw connected pretty far back. #taskfailedsuccessfully
Speaking of Blasters, this leads to part 2 of megatheory:

The mural records the final battle: Dragon vs. Angel backed by 2 snakes. Theory: W. D. Gaster absorbs a human SOUL, is affected by all the Darkness from the CORE experiments, and shifts into the horrible beast of Waterfall legend. Like Giygas, he goes mad. The FUN Gang becomes the Delta Rune Angel. The Dragon and 1 snake are vis-a-vis, using breath attacks.
Gaster Blasters, anyone?
Check out a Burmese python's skull. Notice how the bottom jaw is split and able to flex outward to help the snake swallow prey. We already see Sans's Gaster Blasters in Geno. If you hangout with Papyrus and check the box in the corner of his room, he says his own special would have "blasted" you. So, the Gaster fam has serpent motifs.
Sans: "this is why i never make promises."
Sans: "i know how hard it must be...to make that choice. to go back on everything you've worked up to."
Theory: Sans defects and breaks a promise to prevent the worst possible outcome in Deltarune. He also gets a _very_ clear picture of CHOICE with one human SOUL in the Beast and the other the Angel. The Player will likely be fighting against W. D.'s control and/or using their strength to ensure their friends' safety.
"Don't forget...I'm with you in the dark."
During the fight, the Darkness continues to coalesce and eventually concentrates into a giant black hole with intense gravitational pull. The area around a black hole is said to warp timespace, so the final battle might be witnessed across multiple worlds. The Dragon is sucked in and obliterated and its debris spat out. W. D. Gaster is officially shattered across time and space.
Perhaps the Player is also pulled in or unable to continue to fully exist in Deltarune. Whatever happens, you can't go back home. Things are permanently changed. "You Can Always Come Home" will be subverted.
Asriel: "Every time you die, your grip on this world slips away. Every time you die, your friends forget you a little more. Your life will end here, in a world where no one remembers you..."
Einstein's theory of general relativity implies information is lost within a black hole, but this flies in the face of quantum physics. If we combine the 2 theories, then memories are erased when the Dragon is shattered but Sans is able to recall events thanks to the album and possibly a badge. ('Cause, you know, Sans is our quantum physics guy. Makes sense, Toby.)

Kris survives. They lead the humans to seal the monsters Underground per the UT intro.
With the timespace fluctuations, the machine is affected and the skelebros' house is knocked to the next available location to the Underground. They can't go back to DR!Hometown or their homeworld. Maybe the machine's link is blocked/severed, maybe because those worlds don't exist anymore. Sans is stranded.

I really like mad dummy's added stuffing, it really brings it all together!
These are all great but that Alphys holds a special place in my heart for how derpy she looks. That Frisk is especially skillfully made. Great job!
Edit: I realize now that you didn't make the Frisk. My favorite one you made is metatton.

I have tried everything from video editing apps, to changing the quality of video in the photo editor, to reuploading multiple "test" videos with manual color adjustments in some fleeting prayer that I would find SOMETHING to make this video look less awful.
I swear it looks ten billion times better on my device; the second I upload anything it turns into radioactive sludge, especially anything the color yellow. I spent upwards of 3 hours JUST making sure the video looked nice, and it was for absolutely nothing. Because UA-cam wants to play everything in radioactive blacklight color settings, apparently.
This isn't the quality I want to put out and I would feel ashamed except I literally can't do anything about it. Two weeks of work and _this_ is what you guys get to see.
I'm furious and I'm exhausted and it's almost 3 in the morning, I'm going to bed, if anyone has any advice I'm begging for it, goodnight

Edit: I just finished watching it, and I smiled the entire time I did. I think it’s pretty cool that you showed us your other artistic abilities in a way that also shows us some of your personality. :)

Your videos are great, this video came out great,
you should be proud of yourself for putting that much effort into it, first and foremost.
Also, Absolutely don't worry about pushing content out every week or stuff like that, by all means, take as long as you like!

I'm not usually this stressed when it comes to making videos, but when I do something big like this or like the 15.ai videos, I want it to be perfect and I get upset when it's not... It's just rough putting the effort in and _still_ not getting the result you want. But I'm quickly learning that editing and making videos at all takes as much practice as any hobby - you sure as heck don't just pick it up one day and have it figured out lol. Mad respect to people who have learned to do it well.
The weekly videos are just a goal I set for myself so I don't just forget about them and inevitably give up (like I do with so many hobbies and projects lol) but at this rate I might need to tone it back because I overestimate how fast I can draw/edit lol.
But you guys have been great, thank you for the encouragement and for being patient when I keep making whiny comments and stressing out lol
