Amazing build. I used to try lighting with my models when I was younger. I would extrapolate LEDs and their circuit from light up Christmas cards and install them into the turning signals of my models to make it look like they were flashing!
Can you provide insight as to products to buy, how to wire to resistors, the board, etc? Thank you for doing this

I’ve made a few changes to my cars seeing his videos. This guy is awesome but, I spotted a few flaws on his 1/64 scale car which I don’t think anyone else did by now.
I too conceal the wires but hey, I never need to drill into my car’s body.

I've shown the best way for beginners :) There are of course other solutions if you add more lighting options. Taken this Ferrari for example, the solution for taillights with all real-life-lights is totally different :) But for the beginning, this is the best way to get good results.

Learned a lot from this video! Do you use aluminum foil to block the back light? What kind of transparent glue do you use?
You can use anything what blocks light. Metal foils have the advantage of reflecting light. If it's useful for the certain modification, use metal foils, if not, use other materials. The transparent "glue" is simple hot glue in this tutorial. I'm using a various number of different materials and what I've shown was the simplest way for beginners :)

I'm currently trying to add some lights to my Lamborghini Murcielago 1:18. Can you tell me how do you light up the speedo ? You print a semi-transparent one ?
Great! but what if the LED needs to be replaced?
If you do everything right incl. all calculations and material choices, a replacement is not needed. But in case of cases, it's a bit hard to it on this model :)
Was that a Miasto or Stradale? If it is, it would be a good one to start to learn to install lights.

@1.18 wait what? Are you using the hot glue to transfer the light to the brake lights? You can do that??
yes, i did use hot glue :) But keep in mind, that hot glue is a bad light conductor. For short distances it's good, for fine a curved parts it's bad.
