It's good that you clarify that it's a compilation because many confuse it with a MUGEN game. And without belittling the author, it's just a messy casual collection of elements from different origins that can barely be related to each other.
This is a pretty cool idea for a fighting game, just imagine also including alternative spidermen such as miles morales, 2099, etc and the final boss being Morlun
I downloaded this Mugen edited it and did that except for Morlun who hasn’t come to Mugen yet but I also added others like daredevil iron man doctor strange chameleon ect. But unfortunately since I don’t want to get in trouble or get my Mugen banned I never posted it.
Honestly I'm really surprised this MUGEN is the only full on Spider-Man fighting game there is, official or not. Nothing beats good ol' MvC, but a fighting game featuring just Spider-Man characters is a very solid idea.
Pretty nice, although some certain character’s canonical height & size can be a little odd, like Kingpin being a little taller than Rhino tbh Not to mention, certain hit sparks aren’t there for different characters like Symbiote Spider-Man for example!!
That's because this MUGEN is less so a fighting game using MUGEN and more a compilatory MUGEN. I'm pretty sure the creator has worked on some characters, like Lizard, but that's kind of it.
I play through this and tbh, some of the characters are really annoying and unbalanced. Sandman's Binding Sand is too OP and doesn't have a variety of range, which make the fight against aggressive AI become one-sided and unfair when he spams that move and makes me cannot find the right window to strike. One another example is Kingpin and Lizard's fight, both of them are ganked fight. I know they have a limited move set and are easy to counter, but the minion and their consecutive attack from behind is so damn annoying. These are the only nitpicks I had with this game. This is still a perfect MUGEN game, made with all of the heart, and decent in terms of look and animations. Respect!!!

I never much cared about Black Cat as a character but she is done so well, IMO one of the better MvC style characters mugenified.
0:24 had to replay this a few times to realize he was refilling his web fluid....which I'm not sure if that makes it sound worse 😳

This and the Dragonball AF were two Mugen titles I’m so glad I downloaded last year, they’re so much fun and the level of detail is superb!
