  • Dr. Daniel Gottesman, Research Scientist at the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics, gave a lecture about Quantum Error Correction and Fault Tolerance.
    The lecture is the second of two parts, and was filmed at the Canadian Summer School on Quantum Information, held at the University of Waterloo in June of 2012.

    Listening to this makes me wonder if quantum computation is even possible!!! Its incredible! So many complications. Hats off to the people actually doing this!

    there where parts of the videos that seem to be cut probably the doubts which should be there because it will make this already good lecture a great one

    If D-Wave can arrange thousands of qubits for quantum annealing, how far are we from, perhaps, a 2-qubit fault-tolerant gate device?
