Whistle - Wolf Whistle / Cat Call - Training Video For Cockatiels and Birds

Wolf whistling or cat calling is the whistle with a rising and falling pitch, directed towards someone to express attraction or admiration. While it is frowned upon for humans to do it in this day and age it is incredibly cute when a bird does it!
The whistle for attention is the opposite pitch to cat calling and is usually used to call a pet dog or hail cab and get someones attention.
The best way to get a cockatiel, budgie, parrot or bird to mimic a song or phrase is to whistle or say it over and over again. Eventually they will start to sing a long. This is the method i used to get my cockatiel, Dino, to sing. He can sing five different songs now.
This can be time consuming and frustrating, especially if you are not great at whistling. It took my cockatiel months to learn Game of Thrones. An easier way is to play this video to your bird and they will learn from it. Good luck
