I look forward to hearing you play more CPE. Your personal style and approach are well suited to the Empfindsamer Stil he wrote in. This is the most enjoyable and energizing performance of this piece I've heard. Thank you!
Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach (1714-1788), the second surviving son of Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) and his first wife Maria Barbara (1684-1720), was born on 8 March 1714 in Weimar. [Bach-Archiv Leipzig] 2:00
I have troubles to following the lyricism, ie. regarding melodic achievement here. Is there any melody, or something that extends in time ... ? There is even some recitative at 5mn. And some Scarlatti reminiscence.

CPE's music is tricky. And yes, there are some Scarlatti reminiscences.
He was definitely proficient on the keyboard (like you), but his music is more for select audiences.
