- Two decades later and Barbra Streisand and James Brolin are still one of Hollywood's biggest power couples! James confessed to Access Daily host Scott Evans and guest host Sherri Shepherd the secret to his long-lasting marriage to the singer. "We sit down and if we can't work it out, and we're pretty good at that, we call somebody else in, what do you think? It's hard sometimes, but it just goes poof afterwards," the legendary actor revealed. The 79-year-old star also opened up about adding directing to his resume.
James is so laid back and handsome. Barbra is so beautiful and funny. They make a great couple & have stood the test of time.

I was so star struck I almost fell to my knees but I greeted you with a smile and remember saying " nice to meet you Mr. Brolin someone will be with you in a minute, have a nice day". And went on typing and answering the phone which at that time had ten ❤😂lines. I was shaking like a leaf on an autumn day. Will never forget that day. You were the most handsome second man because I had just met the first handsome man of my life, which is now still my husband after 42 years. I am in aw of the relationship with you and Barbara. My grandparents have been married 67 years now. I asked grampy what the secret is to a long marriage. He said well, you know that nanny likes to bicker so I just ignore her as you know that. If I had of gotten into the habit of bickering back the marriage would've ended long ago. A pretty odd response but hey, whatever works, ha.
