Have been playing it for a few weeks now, really good! However "missiles" are way too strong and "orbital" way too weak, might need a little balancing

@@TheZajic23 That would be painful but for a different reason - you'd be more able to take hits, but warriors aren't known for their kiting ability (and accidentally meleeing, even unarmed, is inevitable).

I play a Brewmaster Monk and if you are curious what things are "magic" and which aren't... it turns out *ALL* Fire, Frost, Nature, etc. etc. are considered "magic" damage. Yes, being burned by campfires is Fire damage, and all Fire damage is magic as far as the game is concerned(just like the poison radiation blobs and robots that shoot electricty are considered "Nature" damage, so yeah). I tested this by going into the TBC dungeon that that those mana things that were impervious to magic attacks and Breath of Fire, Crackling Jade Lightning, and Rushing Jade Wind).
This is similar to all *EVERYTHING* that is not normal melee, normal ranged, falling, and drowning damage is considered, "magic" in Skyrim. Even mundane poisons and diseases.

Why not go Human mage and try to snag a decent sword and offhand since the int buff gnomes have doesn't really help you at all

Sword is just always lower dps than staff by quite a lot, and int is directly related to more hp with mana shield, so not bad at all!

I actually finished a Melee Warlock named Meleemaster back before official HC servers. At levels 50+, it was legit super strong. Really fun run with some unique challenges!

My dude watched himself auto attack his way to level 20 he basically played Paladin
I tried this on warlock about a year ago. I called it firestone Bladelock build because that was only damaging spell I was allowed to use (no pets either, only VW for sac), and I also stuck to swords and daggers. I only got as far as 21, and at that point I couldn't be arsed to do it again because it was really starting to slow down.
STR and AP were pretty pointless, the best bet was to invest all into stamina. Also all casters start getting a massive glancing blow penalty around level 30, so after that point I would be relying almost entirely on firestone and other weapon procs I could find.

If we really want to stretch rules, I'd also install a swingtimer for you and the enemies.

Since real melee classes usually have instant cast abilities, I would’ve allowed instant cast spells. Those usually have longer cooldowns or use a large amount of mana. Then again some could do so much damage that they’d break the challenge again so those would need special rules.

Amazing what a little gnome can do when they put their mind to it.
Staff of Westfall is so good that in Season of Mastery I took it on my Warrior as it was the best available weapon for that level bracket.
I was just doing a comparison between human and gnome mage base stats. Humans at lvl 6 have 21 str vs a lvl 6 gnome with 16 str. Gnomes have 24 agi and the human has 21 agi

It's a good thing there are some early items with strength and agility on cloth gear. I hope you get those and plenty of stamina. You'll need it.

melee warlock sounds much more doable. Firestone for 1h sword or dagger, pets melee damage, demon armor, soul link (im thinking demo is the only way for melee lock to play). That could be something

Bro, you can do the same mage quest in stormwind (if i'm not mistaken) and to fill up that vial in a pond, you don't even need to kill any mob❤

Did you ever hear the tragedy of Grizabella The Unwise? I thought not. It’s not a story the UA-cam Algorithm would tell you. It’s an internet legend. Grizabella was a Diablo II Sorceress, so powerful and so wise she could use Enchant to influence the midichlorians to create fire on her melee attacks… She had such a knowledge of the Fire Skill Tree that she could even keep the ones she cared about from going without bonus Fire damage. Challenge runs are a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. She became so powerful… the only thing she was afraid of was running out of mana to maintain her fire damage buff, which eventually, of course, she did. Unfortunately, she taught her apprentice everything she knew, then her apprentice killed her in her sleep. Ironic. She really got burned.

I think counterspell and sheep would have been fine. Sheep heals the target and counter spell just stops magic damage
This reminds me of me, I leveled my druid from 1 to 60 in vanilla as resto, only using moonfire and hitting things with my staff, it took forever but I had no clue how to play, luckily I got better (and smarter).

So, about kingdom survivors, can you PLEASE make the bosses drop evolution chests instead of forcing the chest to open when it dies, it is extremely tilting.

Took a whole different approach to disarming mage.
I challenge you to level as a Hunter but you can only kill mobs controlling your pet with Eyes of the Beast.
