If Tanjiro would be the demon instead Nezuko, Tanjiro wouldn’t be strong as DKT cause DKT has all powers of Muzan because of the
Muzan gave when he is so close to death his powers to DKT so DKT could be much stronger but if the story was like as you said, I think Muzan would have a chance
