  • This is a modified 240 volt 3 phase motor, It now has 12 phases each set of 3 has 9 coils. There are 4 sets of 3.... There are 4 three phase rectifiers 2 are wired in series, as well as the other 2, then they are wired parallel and hooked to two 12 volt batters wired in series and an a super capacitor bank wired for 36 volts... A modified hoverboard motor/alternator will be the motor to turn 12 phases alternator....

You want that charge rate around 15 volts unc Dean.
    Been watching for awhile.
    Great work as always.

You're one of very few people who have managed to do anything with the DD motor from the washing machines, I discontinued for some time now and moved on to other projects

Love your work Mr Taylor. Could you please provide a schematic ? I'd really like to see how you wired the coils. Thank you and bless you

secondly, in order to achieve best efficiency in an alternator, the prime mover Must have mechanical advantage (MA) over the load (in an alternator, the load occurs at the radius where the magnets pass by the stator coils). this means that in order to correctly drive a large-diameter rotor at its center of rotation energy-absorbing multi-stage gearing is required.! the better and simpler solution is to use a (low-wattage) high-speed DC motor and FRICTION DRIVE, to drive the rotor at its PERIMETER. it can be understood that a correctly designed high-ratio friction drive is actually pretty efficient. (see my research)
in this type of application, any use of capacitance is not recommended. if a system is Correctly designed, smoothing of the alternator output is not necessary. usually, the use of capacitance results in meter readings that are inaccurate. d

firstly, this could be a three phase alternator; with 12 (or 13) coils per phase. the rotor should then have 12 or 13 magnetic poles. a full magnetic pole forms on the rotor where the n/s poles of two adjacent magnets are near to one another. the layout of poles on the stock rotor should be determined. if the magnet configuration is nominal, the efficiency of the stock magnets will always be significantly less than neo-magnets. d

110 input to a rectifier is AC.! output is DC. rectifiers do NOT go in series.

thats why you don't build working machines, you have to do what they tell you doesen't work....
