Thanks for this. I have made a number of vacforms over the years and I like them. With care and some bulkheads in the fuselage and support in the wings, they can be quite sturdy. I like biplanes and the thinner wings really work well in vacform.
I do plastic models. But ive come across these and i always think... wtf.. who can make these look realistic at all lol but now i see. U just have to have insanely good skills lol
Never understood the existence of these kits. I've had 4 for over 40 years never opened because it was the only kit available of the PT 19. I'd have to see a lot more build videos to give one a try after these years. And know what kind if glue works Until then they'll stay in the kit package.I'll probably leave them in my estate
Thanks for sharing. I've found that tracing the part with a drafting pen leaves a black line at the base of the part. After cutting it out, the line makes a good mark for how much to sand off and keeps the parts even.
Looking to make a better introduction to identify topic of video and source (Wood Upon the Sea). Additionally looking to keep under 10 minutes each for now.

I was wondering how people even started doing these vacuform kits. Now I wanna try one at some point!
These look like the hardest models ever made in the history of mankind

I’m working on a German 163B in1/24 scale. Do you have any suggestions to help support the wings from sagging. I also want to put in cockpit.
More work in cutting than in assembling
О, у вас есть модель Ш-2!
Это легнедарный в своём роде самолёт!👏🤝
