Yeah all 3 of my daughters have naturally long hair always have but they love wigs and i encouraged it because they love hair color and i always told them dye and bleach damages hair and can cause illness so wear the wigs or tracks... I'm more simple i wear pony tails and if i want color I'll buy a few tracks i will not ever color my hair

As Black women, with chemically treated hair (relaxers and colors) our hair tends to be more brittle and therefore prone to breakage. We repeatedly forgo trimming after chemical services because we think we’re losing length but in the end, split ends do what ends do, they always lead to breakage. After sustaining chemical damage (x2), I’ve, managed to grow my hair back from a forced boy cut to below shoulder length in 4 years. Now I’m a mixed grey, natural 4c, currently relying on heat, and edge control products to manage my hair. I was shocked when your client asked for a pixie cut and I was instantly relieved when she changed her mind. 😊 I was thinking a removable quick weave could avoid the cut and give her the option to keep her hair. I LOVE pixies but I cannot cut my hair. I’ve recently identified a source for mixed grey human hair wefts. I have many years of sewing skills and I’ll be making my own products and keeping my length.
