It seems like when IEMs are converted to TWS, the sound spectrum will compress. I did it with a KZ ZSN and a Trn BT20 and the sound you described in wireless and wired connection had the same description. Great review tho, been looking at the Q2s for a while, I think its time to retire my sabbat e12 😁
Do you think we can use a DDHiFi DJ44B Mark 2 adapter with a E1DA PowerDAC v2.1 to connect the 4.4 mm balanced cable of a Sony IER-Z1R IEM to the E1DA PowerDAC v2.1?.
Do they independently connect to listening device? Left and right separately or are they master and slave type? Asking because I have the sabath pro and when my fingers accidentally cover the left or right one, the other momentarily cuts off.

Please be aware! I've got a problem with my BGVP Q2S. Something inside charging case rattles when shaken. The battery or board may not be properly secured. These are definitely not headphones, because the empty case rattles. And not a loop! This sound annoys me. This shouldn't be! Please send me a new case without this defect!
It's just my assumption, but they doesn't have waterproof rating, and moreover, MMCX sockets seems to be a problematic point in case of sweat/water drops so I'm definitely not sure about their work in this condition

not sure what you mean by overall package, but in terms of sound, this BGVP is bit more detailed on upper mids and treble and sound tad brighter

yes, aptX codec "spoils" ends of sound spectrum (probably the most noticeable impact)

sorry, I don't know, it needs to be checked, as E1DA has some problems with some sources that aren't able to provide a sufficient power

probably Devilaet Gemini were the most "spacious", but difference from others were pretty minor. so I suspect that aptX is a limiting factor here
