I'm a retired optician and over the years i have had more than one set of identical twins that I fitted with glasses. A couple of them only one of them needed glasses and the other one had perfect vision But they both got matching glasses. One with prescription and one without. Twins love our "Two for One" deals. A few years ago I had a set of twin teen girls and they both were trying on frames even though only one of them was getting glasses. They were trying on frames in the "Two for One" section. The one that needed glasses ordered the same frame for both pairs of glasses in her prescription. She claimed she was getting one as a backup in case she broke or lost one pair. About 6 months later they both came in wearing glasses and one of them had fallen asleep with her glasses on and they rather crooked in her and needed repaired. One of the other opticians waited on her. So the one that didn't need glasses was wearing her sisters spare pair. They were dressed differently but other wise looked identical. So if one of you were to need glasses would you both then choose to wear glasses to continue to look like each other?
haha so funny! actually that is such a coincident as I (Lily) actually do wear glasses, but Lucy also needs them to a certain degree so we both wear them haha!
@@lilyandlucycohen Thank you for your reply. I'm not at all surprised to hear that you both wear glasses. Lilly I assume your prescription is a little stronger than Lucy's? So you are seen more often wearing glasses than Lucy is or does she wear her glasses when you wear yours to keep the twin thing going? Even though Lucy 's glasses are likely weaker than yours she's not doing any harm by wearing her glasses as often as you do or even more often. So no harm for either of you to wear your glasses whenever you feel like wearing them. Just curious did you (Lily) get glasses first or did you both get prescribed glasses at the same time? By the way since you both wear glasses and know how expensive glasses can be you both should consider checking out several of the on-line glasses sites. The girls that worked in the optical store with me were often going on line and ordering glasses and prescription sunglasses on-line. Generally speaking their glasses were usually less than $20.00 and that included the lenses in their prescriptions. Here are 4 of the sites they were ordering from that are really good sites. Zenni Optical, Lensmart, Eye Buy Direct and Payne Glasses. Take a look at those sites and while checking them out you may enjoy their virtual "try-on" option to see how the various glasses would look on each of you. If you have any interest in actually ordering glasses or sunglasses it's very easy to do and I will be glad to assist you.
Can you do the blindfold taste buds challenge with clues to help them describe the food to your blindfolded partner without saying the name of the food or without using your hands while standing back to back with your arms linked to each other
