As a liverpool fan my heart was pounding the final 15 minutes. What a way to finish the season. I hope the end result doesnt weigh too much on the players because the season liverpool have played has been next to non, to play every match possible and still finish fighting like they did, this season is a win regardless. Improvements for next season... A midfield playmaker with the vision to play in the front 3 like coutinho was or an attack midfielder that scares the defense with 30 yard strikes like gerrard and alonso, also id like to see trent and robbo swap flanks more, instead of the cross go for the strike, but play midfielders that can drop back to keep the back line like Milner would. This was such a crazy day, I was on holiday in Florida watching this happen, Villa 2-0 up at the Etihad and Liverpool seemed to be stuck at 1-1 against Wolves for ages. Only cause I’m United fan can definitely say this was the best final day ever for a premier league title race
One of the reasons that the Premier League is the best league in the world is that there is always excitement at both ends of the table at the end of a season.
I can’t believe as tight and as dramatic this final day was. At no point during the 90 minutes that Liverpool were top. Crazy, even when City were losing, Liverpool didn’t go top.
