I love that area by the extraterrestrial highway. Been out there the last 2 years and going back 2025. there is an old mining town. A lot of history out there. Some history from the 1800's was taken away due to area 51. One guy made a you tube video where he stormed area 51 looking for the first settlers wagon. He asked for permission like 30 years ago, kept asking and then went. He made a you tube video. Only guy I know that went on the grounds of area 51 (not the building area but land still marked as the base) and not get arrested. He wanted to be arrested because he had a legal case to show how the government was not following the law and he could challenge not being allowed to the historical site for 30 years. Still the area we do have access to is pretty awesome out there. We still have access to a lot of the space. The views and camp areas are nice.
