A saying I used when making pizzas in my first job, "Start round, stay round." Success is always built on solid fundamentals and starting right means finishing right.
21:05 Warning! That light weight aluminum step ladder thingy may only have a weight rating of 200 lbs. Check the labels inside the legs. I had one of those things give out on one leg and down I went. Lacerated (squished) an elbow tendon which luckly healed up in around three months. I now have a Little Giant rated at 300 lbs.
Nice tips with the plastic form edges. You'd think they would sell a purpose material for forms there's a market out there David. Top job as always Justin brickright 👍 🏴🧱
Hey Odell I love the vids, you guys are awesome. Side note as a sparky. I know the electrical is out of your guys scope, but its absolutely illegal to encase non pvc coated metal clad cable in concrete. I appreciate the time you guys put into content!
Great video as always! Where do you get your coloring from or with this particular load did the concrete company provide it? Can you get coloring at HD or Lowe's? If so do you have to add it per bag mixed etc? Thanks! God bless 🙏 Jeff - Sunny Central Florida
Great job - as always. Is it possible to add some sort of clock or timer to your videos? I always wonder about the time frame - when to start working on a shape, when to go in, when it's too late for anything.
Thanks for the content. I enjoy watching the trades in action. does stronger concrete like city mix crack less or at all? Does concrete without fly ash crack less?
My buddy was a painter and was carrying a ladder around a house and still swears he never touched the line because he knew it was dangerous but it arced and got him he lost both of his legs at the groin and his right arm above the elbow along with other damage, his boss tried to knock him loose and ended up getting killed his co-worker ran and did a flying kick and knocked em both loose, turns out the utility company was way overloading the lines no insurance had to keep working luckily he got a state job as a computer person just something to think about.

How thick of a pour would I need to support up to a 2Ton camper driving over it?

As usual, beautiful job. Just a question, what’s the cost of renting a concrete pumper in your location? Thanks. Keep up the good work.

If you apply powder second color on the colored concrete, can it be mostly removed after the wash? Before the sealer?
yes

We had access to the house

Why charge for reinforcement bar then stomp it to the bottom where it does nothing?
You probably missed it but at the 11:10 time stamp in the video, Dave mentions using a fifth wheel hook style puller to grab the rebar and pull it up into the mix.
we pick it up with a fifth wheel hook.
Then the whole crew walks on it and pushed it back down.
