i had read "bhagwad geeta - song of god" by swami mukundananda...i think it is very well written in word which are easy to understand. try reading that if you like. i read it every once in a while and i personally liked it cuz of the practical explanations given by him. yk the logical ones. yeah. other people might have different opinion or might not agree with me. so i'll simply say it's just my personal opinion. and you can give it a try definitely.
Who told you that Iskcon Geeta is having many changes, it is the same as said by Lord Shree Krishna as it has come from Guru-Shishya parampara. Not like anyone has written by his own. It has been passed on by the gurus. Please if you want to read Geeta, take the 'Bhagwad Geeta as it is'

During student life a guru is must... as a student I feel it. We are gradually shifting to online learning which is indeed better to gather information but simultaneously we are losing our inner ones😢...we forget how to live. We are so much insure about our future although we are doing the right thing and in this race we postponed the real meaning of living.
