I've had Zipolite on my radar for over 7 years now, but have yet to explore it. Your video is the best that I've seen and I'm happy to know that there are gay bars and restaurants available now. I need to get busy planning my vacation in Zipolite!
Thanks so much for your videos! I've made it to Zipolite, and I'll be here for 5 weeks. I'm staying at El Alquimisra for a few days and then moving into an apt. I love it so far. I'd never have taken the plunge if it weren't for your videos. Mucho Gracias!
Definitely one of the best videos. My husband and I cant wait to go. We will be in Puerto Vallarta for a month coming up in May. I think Zippolite will be out next place we visit.
Thank you so much!! 🙏 we’ve met a lot of people vacationing from PV here in Zipolite or splitting their trip to Gay Mexico! Either way, you’re going to have a blast! 🙌
I just love you guys and your wonderful tours! I can't travel now because I take care of my 93 yr old Dad but when I do travel, I have your wisdom and videos! Hugs!
Thank you so much for your Zipolite review and tips video! It really helped me to narrow down my trip destinations! I am going for a week this month! Should I pack my fold-able beach tent? Not sure what rental umbrellas are like for Playa Zipolite.
Our pleasure! You’re going to have an amazing time. There are plenty of reasonable beach chair and umbrella rentals or included with consumption. We like to travel light so we’d personally leave it! Safe travels!!
Great videos on Zipolite guys! You really convinced me to stay in Zipolote instead of PE for my husband's birthday! 🌈 Quick question: do you know if cell phone signal is decent in Zipolite? I need to answer messages all the time so having decent cell phone signal is crucial. Thank you! ❤
Thank you so much! 😊 We have TMobile service from the US and have not had many issues. Between the airport and Zipolite, service can be spotty, but once in town, you should be good to go. And now that everybody has Starlink, you can just connect to WiFi at every restaurant or beach club you go to. We’ve been known to have walked the entire beach without losing WiFi signals from all of the restaurants we’ve been to on the beach.
@@czarf Food: $60-$100/day (depending on how nice the restaurant is) and beach rental: $15-$30/day (e.g., In playa del Amor, I paid $15 for the beach chair rental and a drink). hope this helps!
Thank you so much!! You’ll definitely love Zipolite! It’s our last week here this trip, and we’re going to miss it. But we’ll be back soon. And much appreciated on the website! 🙏🙏🙏
The ocean or you can easily pop into a hotel or restaurant to use the bathroom. Everything is open and bathrooms are separate structures typically so easy to use without making a purchase for example. No worries!
Thank you guys. I appreciate the reply. That definitely eases my mind because I plan to spend a lot of time on the beach and will not have beach front accommodations
Sorry, but Playa Zipolite is NOT a Gay Beach. However, it is the only clothing-optional beach in Mexico that has attracted all types of people from around the world for years.
If you watch the video, we highlight where most gays congregate in Zipolite (i.e. Alquimista beach area during the day and Playa del Amor at sunset); but like most nudist places around the world, as you mention, it attracts and is there for all types! It makes Zipolite unique and charming in our opinion. ❤️
Yes, in fact the only reason zipolite exist is because of americans and some europeans that loved the place and it was a very secluded fishing village. So you should be fine, just learn the basic, hola and gracias :D, enjoy zipo!
Many places accept card and many are cash only (e.g. playa del amor). We like to keep a week’s cash on hand just in case the ATMs are out of cash. It’s 80 pesos fee and 5,000 max withdrawal at both ATMs. Unlike in many parts of Mexico there is not the fx accept or decline scam here where the ATM charges 5-10+ % on top of the ATM fee if you accept. Always decline to save! Hope that helps:)
I am looking to travel to Puerto Vallarta or Puerto Escondido in next month but I really need to have access to a pharmacy where I can get Xanax and Ambien. Do you think I can expect to find these things near zipolite or should I stick with puerto vallarta? Thanks in advance
No clue! Maybe refill your prescriptions before you go 🤷♂️ we use pharmacia yza in Mexico so you could check online and find locations/call to confirm. Good luck and safe travels!

Hey Trai & Andy, still enjoying your videos. Zipolite is now on my list of must go places! I really like your website too, very nice!

@@TwoGayExpats We're very much alike in many ways, including staying in places for weeks at a time.
Yes!! Slow travel is the best! So happy to hear it!!
This video was so helpful! How long would you recommend to stay in order to really experience everything Zipolite has to offer?
1 week minimum. We stayed a few weeks our first time and were told we would likely extend! It’s that kind of place! 🙏❤️🙌🔥
Thanks guys… I’ve been trying to convince my BF on a Zipolite trip. He’s always been afraid it won’t be gay enough. This video helped ease his mind.
De nada! Glad we can help! Hope to run into you guys there sometime soon - we’re planning our 5th trip there soon!
I’m here now. This town is gay AF. And the straights are also fluid. Don’t ask me how I know.
Love it!! ❤️
Not gay enough? Lol... It's not the gay of Vallarta tho and that's what I like about it
Keep up the great work guys...much success
Thank you so much!!!
Thanks guys. I heard there are no public restrooms, so where do people go that do not have beachfront accommodations?

Guys, what's the barber shop in Zipolite you mentioned in another video?
Toño’s Barberia. Toño is the absolute sweetest and best! ✂️ 🌈 ❤️ 🇲🇽
@@TwoGayExpats Thank you. Found it on Google Maps. Heading to Zipolite tomorrow.
Jack got a great haircut from Toño yesterday and right at this moment, we're having brekkie at Alma Verde. Açaí bowl! Thanks so much!
@@DavidDavid888 awesome! Glad to hear it!! Enjoy!
@@DavidDavid888 I saw a new one as you enter town. A bit pricey. I know of a lady in town and she cuts women and children. Best of luck. 🏖✂️

Beautiful!
We think so too!!
Hi, thanks for this vid. Any bathhouse in the area?
There’s not, but we think you’ll enjoy Playa del Amor at sunset 😉
@@TwoGayExpats thanks . Inthink ingot the idea now
Hi, great video, thanks. We are coming in October. Do most guys sunbath naked outside El Alquimista? Also are genital piercings common? Thanks
Yes and yes! You’ll see it all here as it’s a place of acceptance for everyone! You’re going to have an amazing time!!! 🙌
Hi, is it best to take cash? How many places accept cards? The 2 cash points I guess charge a commission, do you know what it is? thanks

I do not know your budget. Maybe 50.00 to 80.00 daily. They do have a couple of a.t.m.s around town. @@czarf
