So what is Riff in a minute? It's a weekly series of quick bass lessons where you are shown everything you need to teach yourself a quick bass riff. You can learn how to play a new bass line in just 1 minute. The Riff in a Minute Series will show you how to play a bass line from 3 simultaneous camera angles so you can get the technique down perfect and see the TAB and Notation too!!!!! Plus there's a backing track section too so you can practice playing it by yourself.

Aww thank you so much. That means so much to me. I think subscriber numbers will come. Right now having great loyal subscribers like yourself is the most important thing. 👍🎸
that tune is way too high, the actual song sounds alot lower
Hey Ludvig. The original is definitely in C minor. But dd you listen to the 6 string version or the 4 string version? Incase you skipped and only saw the 4 string version that one is up the octave from the original. Before the 4 string version is the riff played in the lower original position on a 6 string bass.
@@ClaysBassLessons aha ok yeah i got a 4 string and would love to play this riff, so do just tune it down to c? In that cause a c minor or drop c?
@@ludvigthebirb7131 Right I see. Well...... It will be difficult to play it in that octave on a 4 string I'm afraid. The best way would be with an Octave pedal if you have one. If you really want to play it in that octave it will be hard. If you drop C tune you will have to almost play the entire Riff on that one string because theres only one note thats higher that Open A. You could tune your E string to C and your A String to F (warning this will give you very floppy strings) and then you could basically play the 4 string TAB version except you move it all up to the E and A string AND every fret number will convert as so. Fret 3 = 0 Fret 6 = 3 and 8 = 5. I hope that makes sense. Hard to explain in text. One last thing if you do give this a go. The high C (fifth fret G string note) will now have to be played as fret 7 on the A string. GOOD LUCK
@@ClaysBassLessons damn well thanks for replying anyway, its a shame cause that riff is just so sexy
@@ludvigthebirb7131 You're welcome. Always happy to help. And agreed. Super sexy groove. Well I guess just take this as a sign that you need to buy yourself a 5 string bass or/and an octave pedal ;)
Mark bass tone sounding crispy
