Tillandsia/Air Plant is a genus of around 650 species of evergreen, perennial flowering plants in the family Bromeliaceae, native to the forests, mountains, and deserts of northern Mexico and southeastern United States, Mesoamerica, and the Caribbean to mid-Argentina. Wikipedia.
