Another lovely vlog, thankyou. The fabric shop looked wonderful. There is a patchwork and quilting shop in our town and now we have a new yarn shop. I'll never be able to retire. I had a bottom drawer to, i like your idea of a Christmas drawer.

I had a bottom draw too, my mum used to buy me a small item every week to put in it, (like a tin opener or a rolling pin) and I still have a lot of the things after 35 years of marriage.
They must hold some very special memories 🥰
Hello there - what a lovely time to share with you dear Belinda - and I so enjoyed your visit to the lovely fabric shop; I have a few like that near me too - I dare not visit too often!! I just love the Jemima Socks and I can’t wait to see your Whitmore jumper finished - you’re doing so very well with your knitting. I’ve been knitting since I was about 7 and now 60 years later I’m only just exploring knitting socks 🧦 I think my Mum put me off making them as she said she had to make them all during WW2 for the soldiers!! And she didn’t have good memories of that 😢 I shall definitely check out those favourite podcasts of yours too - warm wishes from Elizabeth in Tasmania 😊
It's always such a joy to hear from you, Elizabeth. You should definitely give the socks a try on circular needles; they are such a handy mobile project to carry around with you. I've just finished my jumper, so hopefully I will be wearing it on the next vlogpod. 😘
@@BelleandStitch yes Belinda socks are a great portable project- I’m knitting a pair of Jooles’ toe up Vanilla Socks and it’s amazing how much you can do on a car trip 😉 I also wanted to thank you for recommending the podcasts- I’ve only watched Mousie Makes so far and Helen is brilliant! Her latest podcast was about the Knitting with Peter Rabbit book which I have- her tips will be so helpful 😊 have a lovely week xx
