@@janniksamsing8350 it´s op due to her pasive, at full build you have almost 60%armor pen, i think only cait is a pain in the ass vs this champ, i haven´t played against mage match, probably difficult
Something not mentioned is that once she get's 100% crit rate she's essentially unkillable, especially if you go for both BT and Shieldbow in your build, she ends up with upwards of 30% lifesteal, that combined with W invulnerability and R heal makes her wayy too tanky.
Yeah it's absolutely crazy and 30% is still a bit of a low ball. BT gives 18% Shieldbow gives 10% Legend bloodline gives 5.25% That's 32.25% life steal alone from runes and items. If you take into account her Q passive at 100% crit chance she heals an additional 20% on critical strikes. So practically speaking at full build she has something closer to 52.25% life steal. It's absolutely insane as Nilah is able to 1v1 basically any hyper carry and win with no contest.
For the runes, if your not in a poke or burst match up with a lot of champs that got aa resets you also can run magical footwear + futures market and snowball every game as long as you get prio or cs kill advantage, items are way more important on this champ then having some extra stats, if you fall to behind you just an ultimate tool for stacking up enemys in tf or make backline dives with your jungler top lane.
I gave her a shot recently and i love to play her - i feel i have so much more agency and outplay potential and disguistingly strong at 4 items. like smacking a 4 item aatrox to pieces :D
Nilah is rly broken in euw most ppl don't play her idk why even tho she can easily carry games and 1 v 1 toplaners. Also inspiration seems like a better secondary rather than resolve for free boots.
Love the video the information provided in it is really valuable to each and every single Nilah main. But I would swap around some things just for EUW and NA regions due to how different the playstyle is from the Korean Soloq meta. 1) Go inspiration tree as your secondary instead of resolve tree pick up magical footwear plus future's market it will help you a lot due to how much bonus gold your gonna be having access to. 2) Don't upgrade your boots before 2-3 items that way you will have 800g more to rush your mythic items with. 3) Don't go GA the ideal last item for Nilah would be DD just because of how well the item synergizes with her kit So ye if you guys have any questions about Nilah feel free to leave a comment below and I will gladly answer all of them :)
Unfortunately 99% of players have no idea how to play with her…. I love playing her but only when I have my one friend as my support. If your support messes up your first few waves it makes it pretty hard to play the game.
Started playing Nilah half a year ago because I wanted a 'consistent' pick. Before I only played Vayne and Jhin but wasn't really happy with their performance back then. They worked but one wasn't good against tanks and the other could get bullied pretty hard. I started to play Tristana because she wasn't touched by nerfs and had great potential. I absolutely loved her playstyle. 1vs1 is very different to Vayne but sidelaning and pushing towers and escaping over walls was so fun. In comparison to many other adc's I felt like I could actually do something on my own even if my supp ran down all game. Tristana was a great addition to my champion roster. After the nerfs (for midlane....) I dropped Tristana entirely for botlane. It just didn't feel worth it anymore. If Tristana loses lvl2 or get's bullied hard, it was just like a Vayne lane, but worse. Then I started playing Nilah since her weaknesses are clear but she has great fighting/ push potential and insane scaling. I do pref. Nilah over Vayne for tanks in late game at this point. Nilah provided the most fun I had in this game. I just hope they don't nerf her any further because of they few games in pro play.
She and Samira are two sides of the coin. Samira likes to follow up engage, while Nilah likes to be the one engaging. I like playing both champs, but I think Nilah is better for solo queue in general since she's more self sufficient. As Samira it can feel bad when your team isn't landing good CC for good follow up opportunities, but Nilah can take matters into her own hands more often.
fr, I OTP Nilah and when playing solo, players tend to think that she's better to play with an enchanter because of her passive when in fact it's better for her to have an engage support
I'd argue that Legend: Alacrity and Coup de Grace is a better combo than Last Stand + Bloodline in solo q. Like others have said, Korea has plenty of engage champs so Nilah can get away with Last Stand due to actually having peel, thus staying alive longer. In solo Q no one peels for you and fights are a lot shorter: you either kill them or you get deleted. It's especially bad in the early game, enemies always walk away with like 2 HP before I can get to kill them when running LS, while CDG helps a lot with snowballing. Also, the modern Nilah build core (Collector + Mythic + LDR) focuses a lot more on raw damage and snowballing, contrary to the old Ravenous/Shieldbow/BT that was pure sustain, and CDG fits it way better.
people play nilah wrong, shes an assassin with capabilities of shredding tanks. take the runes that give lethality with conq rush collector (most gold effeciant item on her) into eclipse then ldr for sheer one shot potential and blow up as many people as possible with ult. expect teeam to clean up so dw abt dying for a good ult, its worth. always limit test her shes suprizingly survivable ty to ult
I played Gwen and Samira as mains, and Nilah is the perfect mix of the two. I figured her out very quickly and got some great results right out of the gate.
It is pronounced like you did in the video, she says her name in her taunt and I would guess that she knows how to say her own name correctly ^^@@MissFortuneDaBes
Blaming her low pick rate on her being a meele and having a different playstyle is just dumb. You could say that for low elo but not for high elo or even top elo where her popularity sucks as much, thats no excuse anymore. Its simple why she has a low pick rate while having a high winrate and thats being a niche pick. People pick her when she is a good pick, and only then. Sure there are exeptions, but the most exceptions would be otps, who are already good on her. So its simple why her pick rate is low and thats because she just isnt a good champ overall. Take any other adc, e.g. samira before she got massively nerfed, and you see the pick rate rises. Its not the case for nilah. Dont take me wrong, nilah is a great champ, she is good but not op. If her popularity would rise, her winrate would sink. She would never have 53% but more like 51%, even lower after the next nerfs. Still strong champ, but for a niche pick no reason to be called op.
No please, don't draw attention to her; she's dodged nerfs since her release despite being disgustingly OP because of how niche she is 😭
Shes not really op, only into traditional adcs that is why riot isn't doing anything, her winrate against mage botlane is like 45% or smth

Eh, it's fiiiiiiine. She's too weird to learn for most ADC mains, and she isn't picked in proplay due to how abusable her early game is.

I literally JUST started playing ADC from jungle main, and Nilah was my first pick. The timing is impeccable, thank you!
thank you for pronouncing this champions name in this way, because my mom's name is the same with same pronounciation

This must be the nila I met a decade ago
Meeting another fellow Indian on a video about an Indian champ. How wonderful.
Hullbreaker Nilah. You need to try that. Her damage to turrets is broken, pair that with hull and she's the ultimate split-pusher.
I am a Nilah main and I love her play style. Stupid all ins work on this champion. How she is not nerfed or picked all the time is beyond me
Nilah makes for really fun all in team comps. Kled/ekko/olaf, everyone just runs in, I usually go taric jungle with it and its a good time.
She and Samira are two sides of the coin. Samira likes to follow up engage, while Nilah likes to be the one engaging. I like playing both champs, but I think Nilah is better for solo queue in general since she's more self sufficient.

True
They both suck for solo queue because of their low range and support reliance.
That is incorrect, Nilah should not be the one engaging. She’s still like Samira who follows up on engage.
I love playing Nilah, but it is hard to play her solo, most soloq supports does not have idea how to play with it. Nice breakdown video!

only go for deaths dance if the opponents have heavy assassin so I think it's not valueable much
wonder how this build on samira?

Nilah is the best ADC to play for top laners because of how familiar her play style is.

Aren't Korean pros brainless all-inners? That would explain why an anti-ADC all-in champ would dominate in their meta.
