- It's creepy music but on a tuneless piano... (OLD DOLL)
Recorded on 4/28/2018 on my old and tuneless Schwartzmann Piano. This piano was tuned by the last time about thirty(!) years ago.
It was left unused for more than a decade, when I bought it for a derisory price.
Unfortunately, I still couldn't get the money for a renovation...
The music is Old Doll, from Mad Father and Ib game.
The piano is screaming for help

@@dingdingbella6521 Nope, I am musician, Can tell you, playing well-tuned music is good, but sometimes, all I want is detune the instrument just to listen to those different harmonic ratios 👌
Haven't you ever listened microtonal music? Suggest you to look up some because it mostly base in going beyond the 12 tone system, creating different intervals and harmony it's very satisfactory to listen if you feel tired of _"well tuned"_ music :^)

For those curious, the song Old Doll was a song written for a game. Its used in two of the most popular horror RPG Maker games, Ib and Mad Father(though I believe it was originally written for Ib, and got associated with Mad Father).
From what I have heard, it's a royalty-free song made FOR videos games, especially RPG Maker. Creators using RPG Maker could have quality and fitting soundtracks in their games without musical talent. Ib and Mad Father both used the song but have it listed under different names. IIRC the song has two names in Ib, *Moving Storybook* (the crayon storybook, also it's listing in the Ib remake soundtrack that's found in the True Gallery after achieving your first ending, at least in the Switch verison) and *Old Puppet* (spoilers for this one so no information here, also the name of the song the community calls it), and only one known name in Mad Father, *Old Doll* (correct me if I am wrong, haven't played Mad Father).

I am so impressed.
I enjoy entertaining the thought of dancing with an unknown person at a masquerade ball and as the piano picks up speed, our chemistry becomes clear on the floor as we float gracefully in the middle of the room, enjoying each other's company so much so that we don't even notice the distortion in the music playing until it is time to pass partners, moving on to another stranger on the crowded floor and losing each other once again.
As a fellow dissonance enthusiast, I find this to be beautifully chilling.

__It's called "Old Doll", a free copyright music that was used on the RPG horror games Ib and Mad Father.

__Yes, but check with the original composer, you can probably find it on Mad Father or Ib's credits.

I imagine dancing in a dark empty room with a faceless person who's touch was similar but I couldn't quite grasp we continue to dance as he slowly desinarrates into my arms. I turn about to see a mirror behind me, I was him all along.
this gives a vibe of eerie emptiness, as if you can finally rest after years or even decades.

Hearing this, i imagine an old hallway, eaten away by the wilderness after an apocalypse, walking thru it as the sound of a piano rings thru the silence. Running your hands against the mossy wall overtaken by vines as you reminisce about time before the apocalypse. The piano sounds chilling but nostalgic, reminding you that you arent in the past. As the piano notes get closer, you realize you arent alone, this song wasnt in your head, now its getting closer.....

I walked into the house of my old friend. She had died jn the fire that burned her house. The house was burned, but still stable enough to go into. Walking the halls, I found her piano room. The piano itself looked untouched by the fire, but I knew it was out of tune before I even played it. She had loved out of tune pianos so much, that she refused to play any piano that wasn't out of tune. She even bout one that wasn't tuned, and never had it tuned at all. Sitting down at the bench, I placed my hands on the keys. (0:01) I started to play it. I had never realized just how out of tune it was, but it sounded beautiful like this. As I played the song, the tone of it spoke to me. It was old and broken, like a lost soul, but not neglected. The song felt fitting for the piano, and for her soul. She would sit at the bench every day, letting the broken tunes matching her broken self, lost, but not neglected. The tunes she played were haunting, yet so beautiful. So much so, there is no way to describe it. I felt a few tears roll down my cheeks, but continued to play. I sat there all night, playing the haunting tunes she always used to play, letting them take me away.
