I can't say for sure becasue I'm from the UK, but usually I gauge an actor or actresses quality by how well they can convincingly do an accent, and from what I can tell she nailed it with the American one. Of course this is coming from non-regional ears and you can always spot flaws if you are from where the accent originates (I'm Scottish so you see my point), but having been exposed to American TV and films all my life I still think it's pretty spot on.
